  1. Yikes. This is still an issue in 2019. Was wondering where these Lightside points came from. Time to ditch diplomacy.
  2. I just did a reply of the warrior and I enjoyed Vette's obnoxious chime ins. I wanted to know if Ashara or Khem chimes in more? I actually have done a tone of playthroughs of the Inquisitor but they were years ago and I am reliving them. I can't recall if I ever paired with Ashara much, as I found Khem's constant threats to my life far more fun, but... maybe I just never gave her a chance. So, who is more chatty?
  3. I will fully disclose I haven't tried Darkness yet, but having tried Hatred and Deception I am feeling a resounding "meh" for both. I feel terribly squishie as Hatred and rather low damage as Deception. Any advice is welcome, I could just be doing it wrong.
  4. So one area I'm very curious about is how the game plays out if Koth betrays you and steals the Gravestone vs. him not leaving. I have only recently returned and not done any of the new chapters, but I started a fresh Sith Warrior and have been curious about this plot point before I commit either way. So... spoil me! What's the difference?
  5. So I was curious how this would work story wise. I am a returning player and haven't done the new expac, but I did do KOTFE. So say I decide to, in my first round, be a goody goody, Koth doesn't steal my ship, etc. If I replay chapters, does that become my default path? Or can I replay them and do a Dark Side playthrough as well? Make Koth steal my ship in the replay, kill him, etc.?
  6. I disagree there: The Wrath defeats the Voice of the Emperor who was very much trying to kill the Wrath on Voss (which was empowered by another entity). The Knight defeats a greatly weakened body (probably another Voice, possibly Vitiate's original body, we'll probably never know) on Kaas, effectively picking up the scraps on the Wrath.
  7. I figured I'd share my thoughts since I'm rather bored leveling another character and delaying Shadow of Revan as much as possible. I'm going to list the class characters and their opposite faction counter parts and give my reason why I think each would win. We'll factor in mild prep, they aren't just dumped into an arena, they know what's coming and who they are fighting. I'm presuming they follow their own cannon stories, and by that I mean Imps = Dark, Reps = Light. Sith Warrior Vs. Jedi Knight: The winner: Sith Warrior. Why: Stripping away light always triumphs plot armor, the two of them are fair matches to some degree, but I get the impression over the course of the story the Warrior pulls ahead by quite a bit. His challenges are more numerous, and not only does his success not hinge on his allies, but one ally actively tries to sabotage him. He's a powerhouse who perpetuates himself via his own will, strength, and skill. The Knight doesn't compare. Sith Inquisitor Vs. Jedi Councillor: The Winner: Jedi Councillor. Why: The Sith Inquisitor is, in my opinion, the strongest entity in the game outside of the Emperor. He has five Force ghosts in him (if you ate the Voss, which, since we're Dark Side, we did). That said, the Councillor's entire story is undoing Sith rituals. The Sith Inquisitor lives and dies by rituals. It isn't much of a stretch to presume the Councillor could work up a way to exorcise the spirits and defeat the Inquisitor once he's weakened. Agent Vs. Smuggler: Winner: Agent. Why: Well trained, intelligent, and access to all sorts of handy gadgets and resources to study his opponent, I can't possibly see the Smuggler lasting against the Agent, to be blunt. Bounty Hunter Vs. Trooper: Winner: Bounty Hunter. Why: This is a much closer match than the last. The Trooper has training and gear, but the Bounty Hunter has illegal mods and fights dirtier. The Trooper is painted as a leader of their men, the Bounty Hunter is much less crew based, much more self focused throughout the story. The Trooper conquers with their allies, the Bounty Hunter's success is virtually independent of them, save Mako's tech. In a brawl, I see the Bounty Hunter using their likely better gear and illegal modifications to get an upper hand and defeat the Trooper. Your thoughts? Am I wrong? Right? Post your own, I'd love to read them!
  8. I'm returning to the game and starting a new character. I had tons before, none of whom I can definitively say I recall what choices were made (shoot at Arcan vs. not, just for example). How does what play out? Main questions: Koth stealing your ship vs. staying loyal. Killing either Kaliyo or Jorgan. Romanced Jaesa reunion vs not. Also, more importantly since I am leveling a Sith warrior, Dark side vs. Light side Jaesa. Google has done nothing for me. Help! Shooting at Arcan vs. Not. Those are my main questions. Appreciate any and all help, but major props to the DvL Jaesa question.
  9. As an RPer, I like to use any abilities I can in a non-combat setting. Our AOE abilities are great for this, but they require rage. Which leads me to... what tricks you guys know to get rage on demand out of combat? I know as Fury you can use Berserk to get rage, but is there any other trick, beyond Thirst for Rage discipline (which grants Rage when using Bloodthirst)? Any other spec specific tricks or general ones? I just leveled this guy and liked the style so much I renamed him to my main RP character and replaced him in the guild. Thanks in advance, much appreciate any feedback!
  10. I had to return today to gush on you more. You are the man. You have NO idea how happy this has made me.
  11. Man you are amazing. Forgot I made this topic but coming back to the answer was honestly unexpected since no one else seemed to know what I was talking about.
  12. Before I go to the bug forums, has anyone else seen this before? I am set to ultra. One mouse wheel forward, all is well, one back... fuzzy... a few more back, normal... anyone? If so, do you know a fix? Thanks! Image of bug.
  13. Yeah this needs to be addressed asap. A bug this big needs to be acknowledged and repaired swiftly. Guild ships are very expensive and time consuming, so to have one "poof" is nuts.
  14. Who designed these? Because they should be fired. Step 1: Hit 25 on a class I have completed 3 times. Because f legendary status, amirite? Step 2: Open the crates. Step 3: Get a bunch of trash. Literal trash. Color crystals and armor from the cartel I already have... and it's bound... and the few items I got I didn't have did -NOT- count towards the cartel item set, meaning I can't go buy just the pants/brace/etc and finish the set.... Thanks guys, you're the best! My verdict on dark vs. light? 0/10. I'm not going to bother with it. I already have 65s of most classes and all stories complete. No need to replay to get items that are worthless except to a vendor.
