  1. It doesn't matter because those who earned it know what they did, know they earned it and have that sense of accomplishment that no one can take away from you. It's not your business how anyone else gets what they get.
  2. The Amazon one went up on their website too early due to a miscommunication. The actual pet literally did not exist in the game files at all. Once this was found out it was pulled temporarily. I heard it was supposed to be added in the patch that hit today but I am not home yet so I can't confirm. I did buy the CC card from Amazon when it was up though. For the EU try eBay. That is how I got mine. Some sellers are willing to just email you the code instead of mailing the card. The Walmart one I was able to find in my local store in the PC games section where WoW etc is. Apparently not all of them have it so it's very much YMMV.
  3. As Gloomycakes said, you want to take the barrel out of the weapon and RE that, but yes if you do that you have a chance to learn the schematic for the barrel. But just a chance. It's not guaranteed and the odds are against you learning it on the first try so make sure you are really okay with that.
  4. I don't know about in this game but I wouldn't mind a game set in the Star Wars: Legacy time period from the current Dark Horse comics series, which is 100+ years post the movies. In that time period there's a shaky Triumvirate coalition composed of the Republic fleet (run by a general), the Jedi Council and the new Empire, who actually aren't insane or twisted. Though there's also a bunch of Sith running around too if that is your thing.
  5. The game was not doing well financially with just a monthly subscription model before the cartel market came along. It doesn't matter if you like the cartel market or the people who use it or not, it's supporting the game that you play and keeping it going. Without it the alternative might have been pulling the plug.
  6. There's a couple of over 1 million credit speeders on Security key/VIP vendors they are just old ugly ones that no one wants anymore since there's so many nicer cartel ones now. If you really have credits to burn you could always watch the GTN for a Czerka Crate-o-Matic. Anyway, I don't think all the EWOK OUTRAGE is over credits but over the fact that people with high legacy levels are mad that they don't get a status symbol that others can't have by using cartel coins. Personally, I manage to earn a lot of money and then spend a lot of money over and over. I find there's plenty of credit sinks for me. Try buying a full set of 72 mods + Underworld earpiece, implants and relics. Then do it again for your alts. I also tend to like collecting a lot of the cartel outfits and a fair number of them require a nice cunk of change to aquire the whole set via the GTN.
  7. Personally, I'm still trying to get all the speeder parts and not having much luck there. Plenty of 28 enhancements though.
  8. Yep same here. I love how this happened over Double XP time when a lot of people would be leveling alts and they couldn't be bothered to just do a very minor patch the fix the mess they made, which wouldn't have happened at all had they tested properly or put this particular patch up on the PTS and then paid attention to feedback. When this patch went live on 6/25 players literally spotted this bug within minutes and there were multiple posts about it. While Bioware did respond quickly that they became aware of it and it would be fixed, they could and should have prioritized a small patch to address it rather than waiting weeks and letting it sit over the double XP time. I had alts that had 1 2 or 3 companions and the same amount they could send. Of course I want to level their skills up so I send as many as I can and then find myself cursing at the screen because I forgot about this stupid bug and ended up having to walk everywhere.
  9. I'm kind of burnt out from alts but I also feel compelled to play my main now this week since the alts bankrupted her.
  10. FYI since I didn't see anyone mention it, the Satele Shan and Darth Malgus holostatues you can buy on the GTN are also portable trainers so the hutt one is not the only one.
  11. The tiny Exit Area button over the map circle in Flashpoints isn't really well advertised either and I notice a lot of new people to Flashpoints having issues with how to get out. And yes about 2.1 when collections hit was when the mission boxes started taking forever to load for me. Before that they never did. I guess it's all those items being parsed on every player to see if they are in their collection that may be slowing things down a bit.
  12. Wait what? Basic comm dailies are a pain? Half of the Makeb ones are super easy and so are some of the GSI ones. Anyway, I agree with the strategy to use them to stock up on isotope-5 to either sell or use to craft or trade others for crafted 72 mods. It's doable it just won't happen overnight.
  13. I thought they just patched it so people can get both armors from the dig sites no matter what they picked. http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/2.2.1/6252013
  14. *Edit #2: Found a picture on Dulfy. http://dulfy.net/2013/07/02/swtor-amazon-us-now-sells-cartel-coin-codes-with-umbral-blurrg-pet/ and yep just a recolor, though I guess all of these 'exclusive' pets pretty much are. *Edit #1: Someone already posted this further back in the thread, sorry. Anyone got a picture of it yet? I imagine it's just like the Blurrgs on the GTN only recolored. ----- Umbral Blurrg is from Amazon US http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-The-Old-Republic/dp/B00DIIZ15A It's an online code and they do require a US Billing address to purchase it.
  15. Then don't think about it. Mind your own business and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. They're not PvP'ing you with the Ewok so it doesn't affect you at all.
