  1. If BW implemented something like that I'd be for it. Most likely, however, it will be more like guild wars, or involve the CM. I'm not sure if I'd want them putting that much effort and resources into it, then.
  2. BW shouldn't do anything to prevent queuing into active WZ. They should however, implement mechanics to discourage ragequitters and afk'ing. Ignore helps, but a new crop will always be coming in. Keep in mind that usually, getting queued into half over WZ's isn't BW fault, it's the fault of players. (Usually addresses the dc's or any other legit reason someone left a WZ.)
  3. I'm not letting star wars get trumped by a Star Trek transporter. I hereby contend that a lightsaber, let alone a star destroyer, could destroy The One Ring. After all, all those guys saying what could and couldn't destroy the ring were neither omnipotent nor infallible in their assessments.
  4. Of course not, you put them in 50 gear. You're OP stated no lvl specifics, just that there's "no reason to craft." I'm just pointing out there there are a few reasons to use the various crew skills. They aren't required to enjoy or do well in the game, but they aren't completely useless either. After you hit 50, then there's the no win situation where people wonder why to bother with crafting, which is a better complaint then why bother with FP's, Ops, Pvp, etc. because those things = playing the game. Maybe there's some balancing to do, but it would seem counterproductive to MMO's to make crafted gear too close in power to gear gained from kiiling BBEG's or people would just settle for slightly inferior stuff. Kind of like Elite WH vs WH.
  5. Alright, I see where you are going with this. I want a shoulder-mounted Jawa-catapault for my BH if you repubs get that. Miss that game. GW2 can DIAF. . . . . stupid NCSoft . . ..
  6. A lot of the conversation choices for missions will feel forced in regards to light side and dark side for jedi and sith, but it's not as bad as playing a light side sith and having almost every jedi you encounter insist on fighting to the death regardless of how much you try and reason with them.
  7. Some of those crafts are useful for keeping companions geared decently w/o maintaining mods on them as well as you. As for needing more sets; second that. Appearance slots would be awesome too. Just saying.
  8. I bet this topic is brutal for consulars who are stuck with a broomstick wielding, capri pants wearing, loogie hacking lizard-pirate as their first companion. Oddly enough, I see Boonmark running around in fleet more often then you'd think. When I first got him i tried him out and wasn't impressed. Obviously tank companion not great for tanks. Course, there's probably five times more marauders out there than juggernaughts. . . . . The least seen companions are any that aren't Mako/Jaesa/Ashara/cute chick/etc.
  9. You must be missing something. Smash doesn't hit that hard without building shockwave, even with the autocrit from Force Charge/Obliterate. Even on classes in their teens. Someone is getting Force Choked or Force Crushed to give him the shockwave for the +25% damage/point of shockwave, stacked (up to 4 points).
  10. This. I wouldn't play a healer that did nothing but heal unless the fight required it. And IMO if you disagree feel free to get another. Especially annoying when you have to start cc'ing and some d.a. keeps breaking. That's 95% a dps though. Like the others have said, sounds like a class queued as healer while dps spec'd.
  11. TBO I've never understood using healing companions to speed up downtime between fights, considering your recoup will max hp within 15 seconds (usually much less time). The only real choice for companions is if you want Vette shouting ''WOOHOO!'' While lobbing grenades, or to lightsaber it up with Jaesa. Either of the two is great.
  12. I ran immortal up to sonic barrier and 2 pts into unchanneling force choke then rage. Obliterate to keep sb. You lose some dps, of course, but smash will lay 4 stacks of sundering to AoE from immortal, you roll in soresu and you'll have sonic barrier up more often then not, for defense. Plus you can still keep autocrit for smash. I'm not an expert but i'm liking the build. Feel free to give it shot and see how you like it.

  14. How often does RL pull people from matches they are winning, I wonder. After bad matches, just scroll up and /ignore the people that bailed. You won't have to play wit them again.
