  1. I know. I don't raid for loot, I raid for fun. There's nothing remotely challenging in SWTORs raid, and I'm pretty sure that the people who downed stuff in Naxx40, SWP, even HM Ulduar pre-nerf will agree. I'm already done with SWTOR, sub cancelled, most of my friends quit as well....just spending some time here until I can play Tera again. Enjoy your pretty voice acting and keep telling yourself that it's worth to pay a sub for a single-player game. Bobz out.
  2. The ones 'bashing' the games are the ones who want to see it fixed and actually playable. Those saying the game is fine are just lying to themselves or haven't reached lvl 50 yet.
  3. No, my opinion is based on facts. Yours is based on lack of experience it would seem.
  4. Whatever MMO EA touches dies a horrible death soon after. I see a pattern here...
  5. Completely balancing an MMO is impossible. Each little change affects a multitude of things, and when you consider changes affect both PvE and PvP environments alike, things get that much harder. That said, I don't think balance in WoW is horrid, nor do I think the 'examples' you used are valid.
  6. I'm not a programmer or anything, but I don't see an ounce of good reason that could lead them to pick Hero over, say UE3. I hear people say it's harder to work with the latter, but BW already had experience with the engine thanks to Mass Effect 1 and 2, and given the amount of accolades and incredible games the engine has, it just makes me even more amused as to why BW chose Hero(the first of many bad decisions and a vital one that they can't change now)
  7. And it will likely be endgame content, unless BW decides to revamp the planets. Thanks for corroborating my point.
  8. It's what I've been saying this entire time, but people are too mesmerized by lightsabers and voice acting to actually pay attention to this.
  9. Even if that was remotely true, normal mode raids are meant to be easy and only pose some degree of challenge(otherwise casuals would be butthurt and quit the game). Unless you cleared the heroic raids in that time, which I hope you say you did, so I can safely assume everything you said is crap
  10. The game doesnt have that many followers because it was poorly advertised and there are many issues regarding lawsuits, it being a korean game, Elins and whatnot. But hey, I seriously doubt this game would have done a better job if it wasn't for the SW franchise and the fact that BW made it. The second is what sold it for me, and I can't say I'm all but completely disappointed.
  11. No MMO truly needs to be P2P, just take a look at the costs to maintain the game(Unless, of course, you decide to spend 200 million on pointless voice acting *rolls eyes*). GW1 is proof of that. And I think you meant TERA will go free to play. Maybe it does, but I don't think it will.
  12. I for one can say I had a very enjoyable time in Tera, but thats not the point of this thread, whatever the point is. And yes Nemmar, thats how it works. Just like you don't run old raids, or don't spend justice/honor points in old gear. That's just how it is and I dont doubt SWTOR will do the same come the next content tier.
  13. I'm talking community, not gameplay. Both are important aspects of an MMO and cross-server LFG seriously hurts one of them while helping the other(thats how I see it anyway, a lot of people agree on this and a lot do not). Sure, WoW's graphics are bad, look at how old it is, but compare the textures with the half-baked stuff you see in SWTOR(Hell, we cant even get the high res things god knows why)! And yes, we're all tired of hearing about WoW, but what do you expect when most games copy, and so many players ask, for the features that came from that same exact game(dungeon finder comes to mind)?
