  1. I lost 3 names out of my 8 characters. That didn't bother me...but it was odd because they all had ASCII characters in them. I really wish BioWare would go through all the inactive accounts and purge names so they can be freed up. I'd gladly spend CCs on name change tokens to go back to a name that has now been freed. For example...my main toon...he has been through 3 server merges now. His original name now belongs to a Sith Juggernaut. I added that name to my Sith alt's friends list. I have never seen that character online in the last 2 years. I have sent mail to that character and it always bounces back after a set time. That character is still stuck at the level cap from a couple expansions ago. After this latest merger...that same Sith Juggernaut has the name. That name should be released to the public and then it would be first come first serve if someone wanted to use a name change token. I say purge all names that are on accounts that aren't subscribed and haven't been logged into in say...2 years. I think that's fair. If they haven't logged in by now...they won't be.
  2. I am a little frustrated with how the server name purge worked. I thought that old inactive accounts were going to have names freed up. The way I understand it though is that names were only purged if an active player had a higher level character with more playing time. If there was no name conflict though...the inactive accounts kept their name. I have played from day one and originally had several character names I loved. I lost many of those when the first server merge happened. I hated that but I lost them to someone with more playing time. Then I got a new names. Those grew on me. Then I lost some more when the 2nd one happened. Now we have a 3rd. I lost 3 names this time...which is okay. I understand the mechanics and am not mad at that. The names I lost are on alts and I lost them to someone with more playing time. My gripe is that I know for a fact some of those old original names I had before on previous servers are on inactive accounts. I added all the names of people that had my original names to my friends list to see when and if they came online. I can also see their class and level. Many of those characters have been at the same level for years (the same level when they quit playing). I can tell because it's the same class...same level I remember...and they haven't been online in forever. I have no problem losing a name to someone that's got a main or even an alt that they play more than mine. I just wish that characters names on accounts that are no longer subscribed and haven't been logged into in years...I think all their names should be purged. I am not saying give us a free name change. I will pay CCs gladly to get an old name back. I just think that those of us that have been playing for so long should have priority on old names over inactive accounts...especially because some of us have had to give up names multiple times along the way. I do love the server mergers and am glad it has happened. It was needed...but it would be nice to be able to have a name that doesn't sound like random characters or have 2-3 ASCII characters in it. Anyway...that's my rant. I think it's fair.
  3. I see lots of Sentinels running around with Dark Radiance relics but with 2.4 that item is no longer on the vendor. Do we double stack Serendipitous Assault or is there another option for a Relic that I am missing. Again this is for PvP.
  4. Great...just perfect. At the end of next week I am headed out of town for 2 weeks and I won't be near my computer so I won't be able to log into the game and I won't be able to buy the item that is only available for ONE FREAKING DAY! You do know that some of us dedicated players actually also have lives outside of the game. Making this available for just one day is going to make a lot of people unhappy that either forget, don't know about, or physically can't log in on said day.
  5. For those that are having trouble with Cartel Coins at Best Buy...go find a gaming kiosk in the store. It's a touch screen computer standing vertically over in the video game area. Type in the SKU for the Cartel Coins. That number is 8919082. If you put that in...it will pull up the cartel coins. You then print out a receipt. You then take that up front and pay. Your activation code will be on the receipt that they give you up front (not what was printed out at the kiosk). WARNING: If you are buying coins for multiple people or multiple accounts and want the pet for each...ring up each one separately. If you pay for them all together...you get one code. If you do them separately...you get one per purchase.
  6. If you notice we now get a set bonus credit for either. There are now 10 pieces to pick from and you can mix and match to get your set bonus. Basically what this does is you no longer need to min/max. Each piece has the opposite stat. If one chest piece has power surge...the other set piece will have crit instead of power. If you want all crit...then just buy pieces from each set that have crit. If you want power...then buy the pieces from each set with power. I love that BioWare did this because you no longer have to buy gear and rip the mods out to min/max. Now if you want one stat...just look at both sets and find the one that has the stat you want and buy that piece and you still get credit towards your set even if you have pieces from differing sets.
  7. Does Act 1 finish officially after you return to the fleet or do you actually have to go back on duty? I got the mission to back to the fleet. Turned that quest in and the only quest I have now is to go back to my ship when I am ready for more. Am I still officially on Act 1? I do know that I still have no more conversations available from Kira.
  8. Definitely bugged. Finished Act 1 and no more new conversation options with Kira. :-( I am now stopping playing my JK. I am thinking about not playing the game at all until the bug is fixed, but I will probably dabble on an alt but I didn't want to do that until I completed my main's story. This sucks.
  9. First try. I used one stim though...although in the end I never really came close to dying. I just did it to be sage. I am level 36 though.
  10. I am trying to remember exactly the order of how it happened. I vaguely remember getting a 2nd chat option right after the first, but I don't think I ever got a quest that sent me anywhere. I have a strong feeling though that I am bugged. I think when I finish act 1, I am going to stop playing my JK until this is fixed. I don't want to get too far ahead. In fact...maybe I will cancel my credit card subscription and stop playing until it's fixed. Maybe if BioWare stops getting my money (and many other people's) they will get a fix out quicker.
  11. I will know if I am bugged here pretty soon. I had the initial dark side flirt option, which I took...before Dec 27th. If I remember correctly, that happened during a chat sequence before the big fight. I then got back to my ship and was able to talk to her and I think I got a 2nd flirt option. One was dark side but a 2nd flirt option wasn't. I did both. Since then, I haven't had any other quests and haven't been able to chat with her. Again, I am not done with Act 1, but I am very close. I should know in the next day or two. I am level 36 and have over 4k approval rating with her. I hope I am not bugged. I didn't do any other flirt options with any other NPCs as I wanted to have my JK have a relationship with her.
