  1. Seems about right. I've only been able to sort the problem out by completely re-starting the game. Of course that's annoying too since for some strange reason the Rishi stronghold seems to return me to my arrival point regardless of which part of the stronghold I was in before I closed the game. And with a stronghold that big, it's a bit of a hike to get from there all the way back to whichever part I was decorating.
  2. I have a bit of a problem with the Rishi stronghold and I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm just doing something wrong. I bought the Rishi stronghold. Unlocked all the areas and then made the decision to move all my stuff from my Tatooine stronghold where I've been based almost since strongholds began. The problem is, when I start trying to place things at Rishi - a lot of my things aren't showing when I have hooks selected. I've got a couple of screenshots to demonstrate what I mean. In this screen shot, I'm trying to place a star ship on a star ship hook. I've already placed my smuggler ship and koth's ship on other hooks. I want to place my imperial agent ship on this hook which I had on display at tattoine (my tattoine stronghold has now had each room emptied). The agent ship simply isn't in the list. The screenshot shows that even the list of all starships including ones I don't have is very small. There should be far more than that listed. Same in this second screen shot. I'm trying to place some furniture and the list of available furniture (in this case beds) is tiny. Some that I had at tattoine aren't even in the "show all" list here.
  3. I'd be content with simply being able to modify my class ship a bit more than just adding mailbox etc. But yeah, I'd love to have a proper ship that all my legacy characters could use which I could also decorate, invite other players to etc. Soloing a guild flagship isn't really a suitable option. As the OP pointed out, Guild flagships tend to be pretty bare as it is since even many regular sized guilds struggle to fit them out.
  4. Returning player after a long break so apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything from the forum search feature. I bought the Rishi stronghold and I was thinking of making it my main stronghold instead of my current Tatooine stronghold. Only problem is there don't appear to be any starship hooks at Rishi. I've unlocked every area and there's several centerpieces but I can't find any starship ones. Am I missing them? Tatooine has 2 and I like having my smuggler and agent ships on display. I wouldn't want to move to Rishi unless I could have a couple of starships on display.
  5. I'll have to lookout for you guys in game. I just returned to the game yesterday after a couple of years away. I'm kinda disoriented, finding changes in gameplay, all my alts on a new server and my old guild no longer exists. It would be nice to hook up with an aussie guild. We used to have an awesome community on Gav Daragon which sadly died when that and the other aussie servers were closed.
  6. I recently returned to the game after a fairly long break and I'm enjoying the new content. One problem though is the guilds my characters are in (on rep and imp side) are both dead. For one of them it looks like one payer has logged in sporadically now and then. The other one has had no log ins apart from me for over a year. Now I could join another guild as I did with some of my main characters several months ago when I played for a bit. Problem is, most active guilds won't keep players that haven't logged on for a while which of course makes sense. I don't want to start a new guild. I would like to have some control over the ones I'm in though so I can do things like spruce up the guild stronghold. In other games when the guild leader hasn't logged in for a very long time, guild leadership can be transferred. Is there a way to do that so I can make use of these guilds while I casually play my characters through the new content?
  7. I've just come back to the game and I actually like it. Initially I wasn't keen since it meant I couldn't solo lower level content (I would often enjoy the challenge of taking on lower level world bosses solo). One thing I've come to love though is that it's removed one of the biggest problems I've found. When I'm levelling in this game and others, I like to finish an area before moving on. That means completing all the missions on a planet including bonus etc. Problem is, when you do that, you tend to out-level the content long before you finish it meaning there's no challenge and it becomes a boring grind. Now I can stay on a planet until I'm really finished with it, or even go back later to do things I missed, and it's still just as much fun as it is at the appropriate level.
  8. This is how I do it. http://oneil.com.au/101speeders.gif I'm sure there's people out there with more (I have more myself now), but I think it's a lot by anyone's measure.
  9. As I stated earlier, I got a security with my CE. it had problems. Then I switched to the phone app. that had problems. So now I'm stuck with having to check my email every time I log on. So yes it should be an opt out when logging in to the game becomes more hassle than it's worth. Players who are too stupid to secure their account responsibly would probably not bother opting out so I don't think it would be a huge security issue.
  10. It seems to be happening more and more frequently. I was using the authenticator that I got with my CE initially until that somehow stopped working. Then I switched to the phone app (after an overseas phone call to get the authenticator removed). Then I had hassles with the phone app and removed that. I was glad to be rid of it to be honest since typing a random number every time I logged in was a pain in the butt. At first I wasn't getting the one time password. Then I was getting it maybe once a week. Now I'm literally getting it every time I log on, even in the same day when my computer's been on the whole time with an uninterupted internet connection. I'm really sick of it. Even now when I went to log on the forums I had to go to my email first. I thought the authenticator was a hassle (when it worked) but this is far worse. It's enough to leave me seriously considering dropping my subscription for the first time since swtor launch. I know a lot of people who are having this hassle with the one time password. If people are having to check their email every time they want to play the game then there's something seriously wrong that needs looking in to.
  11. Should be an option though. Just in case you want to find something you can't use or already have on the current toon but want to get it for an alt. Definately should be an option in search to skip things that can't be used though.
  12. When I want to send one of my crew on a mission for diplomacy, underworld trading etc, I would really like it if the choices were really choices. The number of times I open up the interface for a particular level of missions and see 5 options for companion gifts and nothing else. Extremely annoying when I'm trying to craft and I don't even have an option to get mats. I understand there's random chance involved but there's already enough random chance involved in what the crew member brings back. It's hard enough getting purple quality mats as it is when you can send a crew member away several times before they bring back what you're after. Having to try several times before even getting that option is ridiculous. I realise that the choices are re-shuffled when you board / disembark from your ship but should we really have to endure a long loading screen just to get a decent selection of options? It can get downright frustrating when I really need something and I have 5 options for companion gift. Get on my ship and still 5 options for companion gift. Sometimes I have to do that a few times before I finally get an option to get underworld metal, medical supplies etc. With loading screens it often takes longer than it would take for the crew member to actually do a mission. And of course then there's still a strong chance they'll bring back blue quality rather than the purple one I'm after. Diplomacy is the worst since that has the added element of light side and dark side choices. I'll frequently see medical supplies as an option for one alignment but only companion gift for the alignment I'm pursuing. Seeing the same after a few refreshes gets old pretty fast. I hate having to go to the gtn because I can't get what I need even though I have the required skill for it and should be able to get it. I don't think there should ever be a time when the particular thing you need isn't even an option, unless you already have another companion on a mission for that particular item. I understand random chance in the success of a mission but random chance in even getting the option is just compunding it too much and making that aspect of the game more a chore than part of the fun.
  13. That could apply for other things also. I collect speeders and it would be nice to be able to easily search the gtn for ones I don't already have rather than going through 20+ pages to find ones I don't already have.
  14. I didn't se anything in the patch notes about it so I assume it's not fixed. Wasn't going to waste time trying it just in case. In addition to that I'm now finding that the heroic missions are no longer available to my main character. Haven't done any of them in weeks and don't have a single space mission in my log. Yet when I check the available missions none of them are there.
  15. That's what got me. I was trying out some pretty wierd variations of names and thinking 'how on earth is that taken'. I really found it hard to believe.
