  1. Let me assume you are talking about pure Scrapper. Wait until you reach 40 and get Flechette Round, with Shoot First, you will feel like a GOD in WZs until you reach 50. There are bunch of issues like bad sustain dmg, energy problem, no real gap closer, stuck in combat. etc make DPS scoundrel's life much harder than others. -We still have some burst dmg (which got nerfed badly since 1.1) but sustain dmg is just plainly suck thanks to 12s cd back blast, nerf of pugnacity's energy regen rate, and several energy cost increments. The longer the fight is, the less effectives we are. "6 seconds class" is what people call us at 50. -Energy managing (since 1.2) is much harder than any other class out there. There is no place for mistake else you would end up at 10 energy and only able to spam Flurry for at least 30 sec. -No real gap closer, any class that awares of our threat will easily negate us, start with Knock back, slow...and pew pew you down. (Again, stealth is not gap closer once you engage in combat) -Stuck in combat is much more harmful to Scrapper since they rely on stealth heavily. No stealth = no survivabilty+no opener+no surprise factor = 0 effectiveness. And while devs keep saying that it takes only 8 seconds to get out of combat if no harmful actions happens, it actually does not work like that. -Defensive skills - while Disappear Act is good (but quite long cd), Dodge is only so-so, Defensive Screen is a big disappointed (45s cd but only absorbs like half of sorc/sage's bubble, which has only 17 s cd to apply to themselves).
  2. Oh, I am so glad that I never touch that talent. So it would not affect me much. I pray that they would not touch anything else. Scrapper is arealdy....you know. Overall, it is still a nerf to our class. However, Why does only Slinger's Defensive Screen get buffed and ours not?
  3. This. I lost my hope for any Scrapper buffs, right after I saw 1.2 PTS patch. For now, I just pray that BW would not nerf or tweak my poor Scrapper any further more. That is it.
  4. Your build is pretty like most of Scrappers using right now. IMO, you might consider the use of Surprise Comeback, since it might make you stuck in combat longer than intended. The out of combat mechanic is a big mess. So the less factor leads to that problem, the better quality of life your scrapper is. Dirty Escape/Exploratory Surgery is based on personal taste. Dirty Escape is more offensive oriented, while Exploratory Surgery is more defensive + can be useful in PvE.
  5. Ofc, they would think about those thing before pushing out lvl cap. However, i doubt it will be on live any time soon. Just a reminder, 1.3 is not even on PTS yet. So possibly, what we see in the clip would only happen next year or soonest is at the end of this year. Thus, it is way too soon to worry about those stuffs.
  6. Because people do not want to rebutton multi-dozens of skills and try to recall which number for each skill again and again after respecing.

    Then tell us a reason why we should believe in you guys but BW. A bunch of screenshots ( with same angle, just zoom in and out) but no sigh of the so-call GM droid is not the best evidence to support your claim, especially when you claim that the droid was stalking you guys and easily to notice.

    I bet you guys were overboard on camping and made some 20-30s pissed off so they called CS and asked to kick you guys out of the place. So far, only 1 rep saying you guys not fake not because he was there but because he often pvp against you guys. So, his credibility is as low as you guys.

  11. DPS scoundrel is one of the squishiest classes out there. Except Disappear Act, Def screen and dodge are reallly meh. The second you out of stealth, you should notice to yourself that there is very high chance you will be ported back the respawn pt.
  12. I did not know what actually happened with the case. Usually GM will not show up for nothing not mention to give a warning for banning accts, unless it comes to hack, harassment, real-life threatening, etc. All we know here is only from one side (Imps). As far as, i know pvp on pvp server, especially when a side with more people camps the weaker side, usually come together with insulting. Sometimes it is really bad, like gender discrimination, racist, sexual harassment, etc. And if a " warning for banning " was given out, it means campers had to do something seriously wrong. So before jumping over the place like kids, wait until we hear the other side of the story. If GM was corrupted, he/she will lose the job (way easier than people think).
  13. DA is designed for escape. Of course, you can use it as gap closer thx to its speed buff but it is just an band aid to the issue. You sacrify your best defensive skill as a gap closer which makes you invulnerable while it is on cd. IMO, it is just a waste.
  14. This bug has been here for a long long while. Still, BW insists that people will get out of combat after 8 seconds if there is no harmful action from you or your enemies is taken. In fact, it only works here and there. I have a experience that I killed an operative in VoidStar, then stuck in combat for about 40 sec or so ( I ran around the map - my team broke through the door so it was empty, jumped on the space ship, danced for a while, /smuggle 3-4 times, after all of those I was still in combat).
  15. If you are going to be a pure Scrapper, you will need any dps skills on the Scrapper tree. IMO, % end talent, Shifted eye, and Surprise comeback are the ones you should not touch. % end is useless until you reach end game with 16k+ hp. Early game, its a meh. About shifted eye, it is not so hard to detect stealth peole nowadays since BW nerfed it overall. Unless you really want to mess up other stealther, it is just another waste talent. Furthermore, 2% def is literallly useless in any case, Surprise comeback is arguable. Its healing tick is kind of suck at any lvl range (very small and only tick every 3 seconds). In addition, it is suspected for keeping you in combat even after your target died or ran away half of the map from you. Unless you are a hybrid (sawbone ftw), a pure Scrapper - who relies on stealth heavily - should avoid this mediocre skill by any chance. K.O is another arguable skill. 1.5 sec Knock down or 1 GCD or you wont be able to do any more harmful to the target after you knock them down + the recently nerf that makes you no longer able to chain Shot First + Cheap Shot/Head Shot on mobs makes this skill on the edge of useless. However, in team work, it works much better since it can interupt casting skills and most of knock downed targets will become panic when that happens. So I would pick this skill up just for the threat factor.
