  1. I don't think that putting Black/Black or White/White on the CE vendor as a BoP would influence the Cartel Packs a lot, if they were kept in there as a rare random drop with the same chances as before. The only thing that would happen is, that the CE owners would be able to get it when ever they wanted for a better price than in the GTN.
  2. You don't have to purchase it, you will get it for free! Yaaaay! I wished, there was an option to not install it and save the space on the HD, though.
  3. Oh right, I forgot that it is ok for the apologists and employees to call people who do not agree with Bioware's policy regarding the CE Vendors names and insult them. Am I unhappy with BW? Yes. Am I voicing my unhappiness? Yes. Am I stomping my foot and "threatening" to quit? No. Am I throwing a tantrum? No. And actually I already said other things. But the result was name calling by the apologists. But I guess it is ok for them to call those that dare to state their opinion "entitled", "complainer for the sake of complaining", "whiner", "crybaby" etc..... Yep, totally acceptable. If the conversation would have stayed civil and without name calling, I wouldn't have felt the need for a quick jab. Be careful not to be hounded for this one
  4. Yep, same for me, I will stay a footslogger, a soldier of fortune, priest, poet and killer But it would have been a great thing if the devs had said: "We did not chose to develope AI for space because it is easy, but because it is hard."
  5. Didn't the Lore leave the room and slam the door behind it already, when they introduced an Ewok companion?
  6. (bolding mine) Yay!, probably regular updates! Like with the CE vendor! Huzzah!
  7. I probably should have used the icon, since there is no real "tongue in cheek" icon Well, it was sarcasm, even I am not that naive *g*
  8. Well, I do not understand all the backlash that it only is PvP and has no PvE content. Bioware has all the data and statistics, so they know how many players engage in PvP and how many only play PvE. It is only natural for a company to cater to the larger customer base. I guess that explains why PvE servers are almost empty and PvP servers are under heavy load, right? Come on, BW can't ignore their biggest income generating customers, they are not stupid!
  10. The problem is, you can either trash them or keep them, since you can not sell them to vendors. Hence my question about future plans for the reputation items, since the Makeb items were not sellable at first as well.
  11. I have the reputation with the Bounty Supply Company maxed out, but since I like to buy the packs, I still get them and now they are cluttering up my cargo hold, since for some reason I can not stack them. Right now I do not trash them, since I am not sure if they will become sellable later (like the Makeb rep items, that you could vendor after a patch). Are there any plans to give them some other use, if you have the rep maxed out? Maybe trade them for Cartel Market Certificates, for example at a rate of 1 for green, 2 for blue and 3 for violet? (although I have so many Cartel Market Certificates already as well, but they are stackable at least and I keep them for later use )
  12. Funny, that was exactly my thought. Well, actually it is not funny But to add something more: CE-owners could get "The Idiot", "The Naive" or " The too trusting" Reading some posts makes me want to grant the title "The Apologist" .
  13. Tatile, you did a better job explaining why the Imperial Classes go to Makeb than the actual story does. Let me give a try on the Republic Classes: Jedi Knight: (Spoilertags because of reference to stuff happening in the Class Story) Consular: Some Sith found a way to pervert the curing ritual and making it possible to disconnect Force Users (Sith and Jedi alike) from the Force permanently. Using a strange new recource discovered on Makeb, the Sith is working on a way to perfect his technique to render whole planets "force inert". His first targets seems to be Tython and Korriban. Trooper: The Hut Cartel invaded a sovereign planet that asks the Republic for help (For me the Trooper is the only Class where the actual storyline of Makeb makes any real sense, it feels like a Trooper Class Story) Smuggler: A stranger contacts the Smuggler. There is a newly discovered Isotope on the Planet Makeb. Due to the somewhat shady occupation and reputation of the Captain, the contact wants him to secure and smuggle a shipload of this Isotope off Makeb to a secret Space Station. The Smuggler later finds out that the contact, who is only known as "Z", works for Rasmus Blys. Originally in it for the money, the Captain and his ragtag crew have to find out, where their loyalties really lie.
  14. This quote shows that the Devs live in their own little world. Which explains quite some of the decisions they made in the past. I did like the Makeb story. But I only did it twice per side. I played each side once with a male and once with a female character. I had hoped for some differences, like in the Class Story. But there weren't. After that it was either a boring grind, or it still lingers in the Log because I couldn't be bothered to return to finish the line once I hit 55.
  15. Yes, that was my impression as well, the lighting seems to be off on the back. If I turn my character under a light, the color matches the rest of the body, if I move my character, so that the back is in the shadow, the shadow effect doesn't kick in.
