  1. /signed. This needs to be fixed. It's frustrating to lose control of your ship because you accidentally went into the other monitor.
  2. Perfectly true. What I think they should have done was hire temps to compensate for the initially high volume and once things settle down they can tailor their call centers to match demand. I mean, if you're going to release something new you know you're going to have a very high initial surge of requests for assistance. Use the temps to separate the easy stuff from the hard stuff and send the hard stuff to the highly trained staff. Same for the emails/tickets. Bioware is behaving like a MMO is a totally new concept when the realities are already well known. You can do predictions and figure out what the demand will be like. It doesn't help that they chose to release a game that may have had more bugs than expected and aren't fixing it quickly enough
  3. Who's Steven Reid? OH you meant STEPHEN Reid? Protip: If you're trying to get a certain person's attention, it helps to get their name correctly. Otherwise it goes in the recycle bin.
  4. Missions are one time things and thus have to be at a cheap enough point for the purchaser to feel they would at least have a chance to make a profit on top of the purchase price + mission cost. Sometimes you get lucky and get a decent amount, other times it's barely better than the mission cost. So It'd be nuts to sell a mission for anything more than a few thousand right now. Augments are only used on crafted items that got a crit which is a very small pool. All of the schematics I've gotten so far are for starship upgrades, so has everyone else. I think the market there is a bit oversaturated. One of my brothers has gotten FIVE of the same schematic from slicing. Bioware has a lot of other stuff they need to fix first.
  5. I've had enough data from lockboxes on my character that I hadn't opened yet. But thank you for playing.
  6. Slicing serves no function at all now. Augements are junk, and you don't really make any money on slicing now. It was the one thing that helped make the game bearable with the imbalanced economy. Good luck to everyone trying to save up for their skills and mounts, buying gear, etc. Nice job with the knee jerk reaction Bioware.
  7. Well so far my success rate with the schematics in question is 3% right now. A very low rate. At that point you have to ask if there is something wrong.
  8. So I'm trying to make prototype crystals to put up on the GTN and help people out (and make monies of course) The problem is that after 3x10+ attempts to produce prototype color crystals, I have not gotten any schematics from RE. So either the schematic is missing or the dice isn't working correctly on them. I don't particularly care for spending at least 10K credits and hours of effort for nothing. It's even more difficult when you factor in the fact that missions tends to rotate around so you have to do missions you do not need just to be able to do missions for the things you need... At this point I'm not going to bother investing the time and effort in a system that needs a lot of work. There's novel ideas but the execution falls far shot.
  9. What I think Bioware did was give each color about equal chances of dropping. I've been collecting higher level color crystals in preparation; and they've been about even with each other. You have to do like a lot of runs to determine the yield % But it doesn't help that Empire can only use 1/3 of the crystals we have while the rest are not used.
  10. Yeah and it's gonna keep growing. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm not gonna bother trying to keep crafting if I'm just building up a stockpile of stuff I can't use. If I tried to sell this stuff off I'd be only getting a fraction of what I invested in those, and acquiring red crystals would be significantly more expensive.
  11. The 3 standard crystals are Red, Green, Blue, we can get those easily from missions. The issue is BW decided to make two restricted to light side, and one for dark side. That means every time I do an Archeology mission, I have the chance to get 2 crystal types that are in very low demand, and one that I cannot keep up with. My bank has almost 100 of each green and blue; and zero red. The missions either needs to be color specific, or give us a mechanism to change the crystal's color.
