  1. You managed to kill NPCs for the lulz! Congratulations! You win nothing!
  2. I quite like Rishi as well, very gorgeous and nice looking. It really gave a strong feel of being piratey and Star Wars at the same time, which was great. The bird people... tacky at best, what is this, Neverending Story? But all in all I quite like it. My favorite part was the bonus mission Thus always to slavers. It was a nice little historical in-joke - Abraham Lincoln, famous for freeing the American slaves, was killed by a man who then quoted Sic Semper Tyrannus, or Thus always to tyrants. Well done quest namer guy, well done : D
  3. I really want Black primary with yellow secondary... Totally not relating to 40k at all... The Emperor was weak. The Emperor was a fool. The Emperor had the galaxy in his grasp and he let it slip away. - Warmaster Marr, lord of the Black Legion Er, right. If that won't do, I'd really like a primary Red with Silver secondary (along with the title Dark Apostate/Apostle for some quest or another). A primary Silver wouldn't be bad either, or maybe a nice bronze...
  4. I'm many things. A bully is not among them. If YOU read carefully, all I have said and done is tell you to protect yourself instead of whining, and that your whining is unfounded by the idea that you can actually protect yourself. Again, you aren't being dragged into doing anything. All you have to do is buy a vaccine. Even if you do get infected, you can easily remedy that with the aforementioned vaccine or by simply /stucking your character. If you refuse to, that's your own fault, not anyone else's. You may not like what I'm telling you. That's tough - I don't dictate the truth, I just speak it. As already said, calling me a bully for that is being a bully yourself.
  5. Again, every insult you paint against me applies directly to you. You are making the excuse that we sound like bullies. Regardless of what we sound like, we clearly aren't, as I disproved in my previous post.
  6. The only one not grasping things here is you. Let me dissolve your argument right now - The idea that we're bullies. Victims of bullies cannot defend themselves. You can - buy the vaccine. The idea that we're trolls. I'm not, personally, but if you really didn't like trolls you wouldn't feed them as much as you have in this thread alone. Either that 'somehow' slipped your mind, or you're a troll yourself. Either way, not my problem. The idea that you're a victim. Playing this game is a choice, as is almost everything in the game. Bioware thrives on the idea of the choice. You have the choice to do whatever you want, and since you continue playing the game through the event, you're choosing to deal with what happens during the event. When given the option to opt out of the consequences of your choice, you refuse, because apparently you don't have to deal with consequences. Is there anything else that I'm missing? Oh yes, the idea that you hold the moral high ground. You don't. You're a paying customer, I'm a paying customer. We both have our opinions and we're both entitled to them - and neither of us make the decisions about what should and shouldn't be in the game. That's Bioware's call, and since it's their game, they can do whatever they want with it. That's their right as the owners and creators of SWTOR, and they hold the moral high ground above you and I. TL, DR : You have no position to stand on.
  7. Your experience is not being ruined. You're not being victimized. All you have to do is something very simple. If that's too hard on you, maybe you should play the Hello Kitty MMO instead.
  8. It doesn't. My point wasn't that you had to participate, rather it's designed so that everyone can easily. It's just as easy to opt out of the event, but apparently that isn't good enough for you. So, when you place restrictions - say everyone has to go to the Spike before they can be infected - you make it much, much harder for the majority. The current system has less of an inconvenience, and for a lot less players as well. Ergo, the current system is superior.
  9. Yes. Because it is part of a game that you chose to play. The experience of the game is wider than just what you want, as an FYI...
  10. Again, agreed. It not persisting through death is silly.
  11. I agree with this completely. Randomly getting an easily removable debuff is not being bullied or victimized.
  12. Again, you misunderstand. We don't care if you care if you're being infectected. Your grief or whatever doesn't matter. The fact you're making so much noise about something you can so easily remedy is my complaint - You're being snobbish and entitled by demanding that the event automatically exclude you when its designed so that people can participate and have fun without restrictions. You're placing restrictions on everyone else because you can't manage some extremely easy fixes. That's the issue.
  13. How are you forced to stay in a stronghold or a ship? Let's take away vaccines and everything else - if you can't avoid infected players while leveling, doing dailies, etc, you're a pretty bad player, especially since most of them will be on Fleet and Corellia anyways. It's really not all that difficult, so :?
  14. Meh, you just want to be able to PvP freely. I don't think you actually care about anything else with the Rakghoul event, you just want more opportunity to PvP. Which is ok, but don't try and sugarcoat it with other justifications.
  15. What you're suggesting is far more invasive and unpleasant than the Rakghoul event is. Your analogy is more dramatic, but more inaccurate for it. Also, again, there's an easy fix that you simply aren't willing to take because... why? The fix was created exactly for people like you, so that you can shut up, vaccinate yourself, and continue playing normally, while everyone else enjoyed the event. Again, you can freely say no, no-one is stopping you from opting out of the event. Participating or not participating is entirely your choice, and you're not being inconvenienced if you do or don't.
