  1. Wow, it’s so good this thread was necroed, I love all the rants! I’m so happy I could finally return to where I belong and hopefully this whole Eternal **** is mostly over. Can we maybe drop a nuke on Odessen? Also, does anyone know if it’s worth turning to CS about bugged companions? I killed Koth ofc, but somehow he’s back and now I can’t do anything about him (Khem is also bugged on my SI)
  2. Interesting, neither me or my companion ever lose our helmets, except if they can kiss in the scene (Havoc Squad Armor)
  3. Thanks, but I was asking for the formula, not the thresholds. I already know those.
  4. Is there someone kind and knowledgeable enough to share with me the Alacrity formula for level 75? I found the level 70 one but couldn’t find a newer one. Thank you in advance!
  5. I believe this is the only correct approach. So many posted it proudly that they won't be so stupid to support BW with their ****, they will simply unsub and get everything by subbing at the end. I remember people also saying that the extra chapter won't be worth it anyway, it's gonna be the same **** quality. Now these people are butthurt, because the extra chapter turned out to be good. The question to BW is: do you want to pander to those masses who left you and didn't support you when things got worse? Or do you want to keep your promise to those who supported you even when masses unsubbed? If you want to choose the first option, you will need a very significant make-good for those who supported you in the storm, much bigger than I think you are comfortable with. If you are a new player and that's the only reason you don't have it: I'm sory, but that's tough luck. Go to literally any other game, if you started playing that years after its initial release, it's guaranteed that you're gonna miss some old exclusive rewards. That's just the basic nature of games.
  6. Increasing hp and dps of mobs when you only need to spam AoE is hardly challenging group content.
  7. I don't want gear handed to me. I don't want to take the chance of BiS taken away from casuals. All I want is that if I work for my gear, earn it, it would mean I get it. This is not the case with GC.
  8. In 4.0 gearing was fast. And ppl got to learn and practice NiMs, got to PvP on new toons etc. Just because ppl got geared fast, life hadn't stopped. Now we have Eternal Grind to get gear to be able to play what we want. GEAR IS NOT THE GOAL OF THE GAME I don't know if I can make that any clearer. I don't play swtor because I want 346 rating gear. If 208 was enough for NiMs and ranked, I'd not care. I want to enjoy the game (what enjoyment is left...), but GC stops us from that very thing.
  9. In case you didn't realize, ALL species use the same animations. It would be hard to distinct certain species from that. Also what above poster said, there is no racism in this game, only specism.
  10. Either troll or just didn't research. Let's assume the latter. They can't give us non-humanoid species because of cutscenes (height, facial expressions etc)
  11. Sure posters are minority... But what about general chat, KotET instances chat, capital planet chat, pug fp and ops groups chat saying all the same things? Maybe I am on the most pessimistic server (TRE), but are all happy ppl mute? Or maybe we aren't the minority...
  12. Problem is, we gave the devs proper feedback, long before GC went online for example. And apart from the AC based drops, they ignored it. We told them it wouldn't work, showed dozens of alternatives, yet they went forward with their own broken idea. If you try to give proper constructive feedback, then get ignored, you tend to come on the forums simply to write out your feelings and flame the men responsible. I'm not saying it's right or constructive, it's just human nature.
  13. Well, unless BW makes an official survey in-game we may never find out who's majority. But when I read these forums, general fleet chat, guild chat, multiple story phase chats, etc. and see that majority of people who talk there are very much against this new system, I think it's safe to assume we are the majority. (Even if it's not true actually, from the data we can get our hands on it's still the right assumption) He says devs are arrogant, because ppl constantly complain about RNG ever since they mentioned GC, yet they implemented it and other from a vague promise, they don't seem to actually care about our problems. This again is based on what information, dev interaction is available to us. (Even if the opposite is true, their communication implies they are arrogant, so it's safe to assume)
