This. They are about to start a major publicity campaign leading up to a major change in the direction of the game, they don't want new or returning players to start playing and be confronted with lag and server crashes. It would make sense to try to fix the problem now rather than later.

Hi guys and gals! Making a return to the game after a shortish break! Most of my toons are on the Republic side but I have decided to switch to the Imperials for a change so I am going to level a new bunch of toons! This pretty much sums it up for me. If you are a part of any type of progression or hardcore guild then you will have to use the optimal builds if you want to take part in the raids and nothing will change with the new system, once the utilities have been parsed you will have to use the best ones. This is not a SWTOR thing this is the same across all MMO's. This change was mainly for PvP because it allows them to balance it easier. Would also like to add that so far I like the new system!

I totally get what you are saying but going through the 2 new planets will not get you from level 55-60, I think people were saying it gets you to level 57-58 so gaining an extra level while you wait is not going to ruin anything. I am in the same boat, I missed the first pre-order date so have to wait til Tuesday for the xpac but I am happy that I am basically level 56 already, especially because you need level 56 to access the new crafting levels.

Started a few new toons while I wait to access SoR on Tuesday and have noticed a few things. With the new discplines system you can choose your advanced class as soon as you hit level 10 by opening the disciplines window but when you get to the fleet you still have the quest to speak to the npc to choose your advanced class. Although this is not a bug and not a major issue, I did enjoy the free xp! It could cause some confusion with new players. Maybe when you get to fleet for the first time it should check if you have chosen your advanced class and if yes then don't show the quest? I just started the Sith Warrior class and got the mail about killing Overseer Tremel but the attachment is still a Planetary Comm instead of a Basic so when you take the attachment you get nothing. This is a bug and should be changed and maybe the other quests that send mails should be checked incase they need changing aswell.

Muss da Tobiasvon zustimmen! Da ich meist auch mit meinem Sage-Wingman spiele, gehe ich mit mehr Crit auf die Tankheilung ein! Abgesehen davon, liebe ich hohe Zahlen Die Werte meines Schurkens sind ungefähr dieselben wie von Tobiasvon... Was die Schnelligkeit angeht, bin ich noch am rumexperimentieren...versuche mir 2 Equips zu farmen und dann Vergleiche zu ziehen....aber denke dass Schnelligleit vorallem im PVP noch wichtiger ist...DA kann ich allerdings auch nicht allzu viel zu sagen
