That makes sense, but wouldn't it be kind of awkward? I mean... "Hey, you know, I got this symbol from this ancient Sith empire that we defeated like three thousand years ago and it goes against everything the Republic supposedly stands for!" "Great idea, Chancellor! We'll implement it immediately!"

I've been trying to figure this out. At what point does the Republic's symbol change from being the bird-type thing we see in the Old Republic to the Imperial hexagon that we see as its symbol (that later is the symbol of the Galactic Empire) in the prequels?

What on earth happened to my Sentinel? I had a specific look going for her, which included the use of the Trailblazer helm. And all of a sudden... it's gotten ugly. Got goggles and useless crap all over it. I didn't even know they COULD change armor once it got put in game... Er... could you change it back, Bioware?

I've played the viola for six years now, and I arrange a lot of sheet music so I have something more interesting to play than what we get in class. As a result, I've gotten pretty good at poking around in odd corners to find piano sheets that I can transcribe to alto, or (preferably) midis that I can edit easily. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find so much as a scribble of notes for this game. Which is a pity, because the accompaniments are absolutely brilliant (I personally find a lot of the themes in this game painful to hear, but whoa, the background strings especially are amazing). If I find anything, I'll be sure to post it on here.

So today someone in my guild was offering this really nice crystal, it was like a blue, +60 endurance at level 10 or something like that, and when I asked about price they said it was free. Last time I jumped on one of this kind of transaction, I got mailed a trash part and reported. Am I dumb for saying no the minute I heard it was free?

I play the viola, and I like to augment my stock of sheet music with both books I buy online, and with arrangements I make myself (as any violas out there can attest, the cool stuff mostly doesn't come for viola). Unfortunately, a lot of the Star Wars stuff is in keys I'm not familiar with as they're composed mainly for brass parts, so I base most of that off of midis. I've been trying for ages to get a nice base for an Anakin's Dark Deeds arrangement, but I can't get a midi that doesn't stop around 2:15 in concert tempo. I'd love to get the quieter part, building up into that lovely sorrowful brass bit at the end. If anyone knows of any midis that go that far, or sheet music in any clef, could you tell me? I love that deep dark bit around 3:30, that's why I'm asking mostly. I'm also interested in any Old Republic midis or sheets you may know of, mainly the Balmorra and Coruscant themes.

I'm playing a Sith for the sole purpose of getting to level 50 with a Dathomiri Zabrak so I can play a Jedi Knight as one. I'm currently level 39 and realizing I want some moddable light side looking clothes for my Marauder. I haven't been able to find any decent looking ones in the Galactic Trade Market (for any level). The Light Side vendor's things are... shall we say, not to my taste (blinding white? seriously?). I wanted to buy some Jedi robes with my consular character and then mail them back, but someone said that they would change appearance. Is that true? If so, does anyone have any other reccomendations?

So I haven't played SWTOR for a couple months (got Skyrim; enough said), and I'm slightly bemused by the news. I heard about the Cartel Coins and a new trade system or something like that, and it was supposed to be coming "this fall", along with a bunch of other stuff, with this very vague date. Well, it's about two weeks to fall equinox, I think, and I was wondering if we have some more concrete dates, or indeed if it's already happened and I missed it. From what I've gathered we're now in update 1.4, and this means that there are new flashpoints and such, right? Is the new trade thing up? Is that new droid companion thing up? Is it now free to play with optional subscription? I have no idea what's going on, I've peeked in the news section and there seems to be a distinct lack of dates. I know this stuff is all very hard to manage and the company's got plenty of problems to work with, but can I get a October or November or something? Or maybe a "*******, this already happened"? Oh, side note: when I last played SWTOR, I also got a message saying Lord Ieldis server was going to be shut down along with a couple other lighter population servers (but my wide open empty spaces!), again sometime "this fall", is that still happening? Because I logged on just now, and aside from having completely forgotten what I was doing with my characters I still seem to be on Lord Ieldis. TL;DR, I have no idea what's going on with SWTOR, someone tell me.
