  1. The thing here is not feel special, but having something to aim for. This game lacks it, reason I have now all classes standing at 55 in the fleet, without anything different from the daily/FP/Ops routine.
  2. I agree with that. The thing that kept me in WoW for so much time, besides explorations and PvE endgame, was hunting for items. WoW has plenty of those, and some even require some quest after you find the initial item that triggers the quest. And, also, items with heavy lore imbued. Think Quel'Serrar I mean, it would have been awesome if Nihilus' and Revan's mask for instance were achieved by starting some quest after finding an item, that you only got in first place after solving a puzzle which you reached after a treasure hunt But, no, let's put them in packs.
  3. Well, a way to fix this would be making Expertise useless out of Warzones or the Tattoine PvP thing. That way, the field is level for those questing.
  4. You guys know nothing of farming. Try farming the Twinblade of the Phoenix for 1 year, all because I am sucker for heavy lore items and that sword probably is Felo'melorn Or the bloody book that starts the quest for Quel'Serrar and never getting it. Or Ashes of Al'ar There are so many things I really craved in WoW but never got my hands on...
  5. Law #1 in Star Wars: No one is dead, unless you see the body, check the pulse and then make sure his Force-being has ceased to be.
  6. Don't even say it, those fashion designers here made my attire in such way I can do wonders with the force, but not lower my hood. It simply won't budge. I will put up a word with the council on how we should be making whole fleets out of the fabric that composes my robes
  7. Well, fortunately for you, my fellow Imperial citizens, I, Darth Nox, will champion this cause in the Dark Council. Expect changes in the Ministry of Logistics, although, it might be a bit of a challenge as it was under Darth Marr's direct order that personal ships were banned from Kaas City airspace (due to concerns on terrorism after the Darth Jadus' incident). But we shall prevail.
  8. I know this is a topic as ancient as this forum, however, I'd like to see some new and fresh opinions from the folks that weren't here since day one. For myself, I love the Empire. Firstly because it is fair and egalitarian when you look beyond the obvious. I mean, anyone can get anywhere in the Empire, as long as you are strong with the Force and got a bit of wits. Just see the warrior's and inquisitor's story. As a Sith, you are free to take charge of your own destiny. Well, it sucks to be 'force blind' in the Empire, but so does being penny dry or without political influence in the Republic. The Republic in the other hand, in my opinion, is just a place run by politicians and their lobbyists, where the Jedi end up tangled in such political games simply because they are foolish enough to follow the blind (Palpatine got it spot on, some thousand years later). And it is far less egalitarian and meritocratic than the Empire, unless you are born some sort of noble or just very rich, good luck getting into the big stage. Also, Empire's got great architects, and all fashion designers went to the Empire I guess Plus, red lightsabers. I cannot overstate how cool is a red lightsaber.
  9. I'd love it to be in Voss, but for the time being, Kaas City will do. I don't play republican characters anymore anyway, I prefer being on a theocratic empire where only being strong with the Force matters than being some politician's lackey in the Republic.
  10. So, I see you guys learn nothing but neoclassical economics. Well, valid point, there will be a major credit sink going to set down the level. HOWEVER, many goodies for GS are mats or crafted stuff (not sure if BoP, if so, disregard crafters), so it'll be also a moment that some will thrive. I think it will balance the game and give wealthy players somewhere to spend on, thus calming the inflationary pressure on the GTN. Won't be a recession, only a deflationary process. There is no thing as a recession when you don't have jobs or capital.
  11. I had it until recently, good old 2011 times. Still have my white crystal also, from that old geologist
