My understanding is the base (unmodded) ratings are purely there to form a required level for the item. If you put a rating 124 armor mod into those 2 orange chestpieces linked, they would then have an identical armor rating. Having a required level on Orange gear stops a level 8 character from looking pro like a lvl 50:(

My PvP gear is all over the place at the moment. I am looking at having all non-set pieces as Stalker, and then 5 Survivor pieces for the set bonus BUT remodded with preferable Stalker mods. This way I'll gain the extra endurance, but lose a tiny bit of willpower....I should really run the numbers!

Works fine on my laptop, which isnt even a beefy 'gaming' laptop, without having to do any tweaking.

Thanks Powerr, basically what I'm doing anyway (and since level 10!!). Its a lot of fun and havent been beating while roaming around Ilum yet unless I'm grossly outnumbered. 3v1 is doable, but tough. Why do you specify the tanking PvP mainhand instead of the Stalker one? Seems to be just trading accuracy/absorb for power.

Problem with trying to DPS is you really need Combat Technique for PA procs. If you have a really good tank, then youll be fine, but otherwise youll be an aggro hog.

ONLY reason I use Nadia is because she is easier to gear. I turn of her AoE knockback because its annoying. Keep Zenith geared up (which im currently working on) and his DPS is just as good.

I had to go back and read my Harnessed Shadows talent, thats amazing that Slow Time is meant to trigger it! Get that bug fixed and I'm a super happy camper

The heroic quest dailies on Belsavis and Ilum all reward a choice of mods/armor/enhancements. If a player chooses to they can get a tanking one. So either, do the dailies yourself and grab them. Get your friends to do the dailies and buy them from them. Ask in chat for other people to grab the tanking mods. I would assume that they dont appear on the GTN as often because they dont sell as well due to tanks being less common in the playerbase.

No issues the few times I've done it, as a consular my normal Interupt ability worked every time.

There is a mid 30's one that drops off random mobs on Quesh, thats the main one you might see on the GTN.

Was fine for me on 47 Shadow Tank with DPS companion.

Not sure why an elite mob has people running scared.. Obviously gameplay is very different as a Sage, so I can't comment too much on that. Interrupt everything you can is the best way of cutting Sith damage. As mentioned also by someone else, CC the toughest mob, cut down the lesser guys first. Shadow Tank here with Tharan healing me, havent had a single issue with any class quest. Always been 2-3 levels above the mobs and keep gear on both myself and companion upto date.

At lvl 26 I've soloed all the 2+ heroics just with Qyzen Fess. I share the tanking load with him and bounce mobs around, keeping the biggest mob CC'd. (Fess ***** me when he breaks CC with his thunderclap!!!) Takes a bit of care and picking the right fights, but its doable. I look forward to my healing companion!!
