  1. (sorry if this is in the wrong place - I didn't see a sub for items specifically). The armor I'm trying to obtain: https://torcommunity.com/database/item/UoAJDvB/corellian+demolishers+body+armor+mk-2/ I have been trying to get a chest piece that looks like this for my BH since launch, however it has previously only been available to companions. It is called the Corellian Demolisher Body Armor Mk-2. I currently use the TT-15A chest, which is similar, however it is lacking the shoulders. It looks like this was added with 4.0, and any info I've been able to find on it does not state how to obtain. Likewise, both people I saw on fleet wearing it could not recall where they got it from. Please help!
  2. I've been the victim of this and there isn't a blasted thing you can do about it. What is sad, is I was told by multiple CSR reps try in the following 24 hours, try different payment methods, remove cards then add them back, amongst other "fixes" which caused me to have my entire account locked until I jumped through even more hoops to prove I was myself. Then, after nothing worked, one of them said "well, I guess its that automatic system that goes in place sometimes." I asked about this "system". No rep has been able to tell me what triggers it. It is inconsistent between players, cards, amounts spent, time between purchases, and number of purchases. As far as I can tell, it is just a randomly generated "safety measure" that does more harm than good.
  3. could you provide a link, please? edit: nvm, found it: Added voice modulation effects to the following gear pieces: Cassus Fett's Helmet Volatile Shock Trooper Tac Helmet Eradicator's Mask Dynamic Sleuth Mask Voltaic Sleuth Mask Galvanized Infantry Helmet Energized Infantry Helmet Series 808 Cybernetic Cerebrum Mandalore The Preserver's Helmet Opulent Triumvirate Helmet Restored Triumvirate Helmet glad to see this has (finally) not only been addressed, but adjusted!
  4. so... because the canon examples don't meet your personal interpretation of the term, you think it is to be discredited? That makes sense
  5. I am probably one of the few people that agree with you in your general sentiment: I much prefer to see Jedi look/act like Jedi, Sith look/act like sith, troopers look/act like troopers, etc etc. However, I am also glad that these restrictions are not force on players, so they are able to do whatever they want. The solution you are seeking is to find some quality RP guilds that have the same values as you do and play with them. I know a number of guilds that have a dress code (or restrictions) in place to keep their members looking as you seem to want.
  6. the only thing mentioned about being non-canon is its appearance in "Darth Vader and Son". The Ewok version is just as canon as Life Day is.
  7. pretty sure they meant that pvp items no longer you required to have a specific rating (as in, from playing ranked warzones) in order to obtain.
  8. I'd be okay with this... but only if you created a stance for every spec in the game, and you are locked into the moment you queue for pvp. No? That's not fair? Well being able to change your stance and the benefits that comes with it is one of the perks that offsets the negatives of having to be in a stance.
  9. I don't know enough about the all 3 to say which is best, but I enjoy using Fraps. One thing to keep in mind though, recording while gaming puts A LOT more stress on your machine. You can run the game just fine without so much as a hiccup, but it could go to s**t while you are recording, so before investing, please do research so you aren't disappointed.
  10. The exact same principle can be applied. "If you want HK on an alt, you should go out and "earn" it. "problem" solved. This really is a question of laziness." Couldn't you break down pretty much all the legacy unlocks in game under the same "laziness" counterargument? This is really starting to sound like a broken record.... I present existing examples, opposition says "well I don't think its the same thing... it just isn't" And no, HK is not just a cosmetic difference. The two companions that have been added are (arguably) by far the best available for their roles. What I cannot accept, is that people are willing to give some legacy items a pass "just because" when their ENTIRE COUNTERARGUMENT (IE - laziness) is applicable. As I have stated before, if you are consistent in your argument, it at least validates it. Picking and choosing what should be considered "lazy" vs an unlock of convenience when the examples have more in common than not, is inconsistent at best.
  11. If we are complaining about colors we see, I'd like to throw in that I miss colors being restricted to alignment and/or faction. It seems every time I see a group of jedi, the majority have different variants of red, and every time I see sith, they are waving every color under the rainbow except for red. I think it's a case of everyone wanting to be unique to the point that the "unique" have become the collective majority/mainstream.
  12. You defeated your own argument with the companion bonuses. A second point, it would not get anyone an advantage, as it is something that can be obtained through non-legacy measures (and would still have to be to some extent, if this was implemented) Legacy unlock for HK means that you can pay to get a duplicate HK. (1 mil credits after you get HK on at least 1 character on your legacy). Legacy armor does not let you make duplicate mods/gear once you earn those mods/gear on another character. You have to take mods/gear FROM one character and SEND THEM TO another character using the legacy armor. So what Legacy Gear lets you do is put in the effort on character A, then take the reward from character A and move it to character B. Are you proposing some sort of legacy datacron where you take the stat bonus away from Character A and give it to Character B and then allow character A to go get the datacron stat bonus again? (comparison to legacy armor) Are you proposing a legacy datacron where you can pay X amount of credits/cartel coins per character to unlock a specific datacron or groups of datacrons once they reach a certain legacy level? (comparison to HK legacy unlock) Or, are you proposing a legacy unlock where you pay X amount of credits/CC and all characters on your legacy get the stat boosts? (comparison to armor collection unlocks... except with stats, keep in mind that no cartel armor with stats can be unlocked account-wide in collections) At this point I would like to reiterate that the Devs have been against adding anything to the Legacy system that would benefit players in structured PvP (warzones/arenas/world PvP areas like Outlaws Den). It is the same premise of HK - you do the work, earn the credit, and pay a fee to have the reward replicated on an alt. The argument breakdown is two-fold: The devs have shown willingness to allow players to skip a questline and pay a substantial fee to reap the rewards on other characters. The devs have also shown willingness to allow for stat bonuses to be unlocked legacy-wide. A combination of the two is not a stretch, nor would it be game-breaking or make things "unfair" for the naysayers apart from "questers remorse" for a simpler way being implemented after they have already put in the legwork. Again, I think such a system should only be added should it have restrictions, like requiring a high legacy level (possibly 50) along with quite the fine for single character unlock (5 million cedits/ a CC alternative) and only available to alts of characters who have obtained all datacrons for that faction. Devs have also expressed interest (or at the very least, consideration) in the past for implementing some sort datacron legacy unlock, to which the OP was following up on.
  13. That argument is easily countered with the HK argument - the purchase option eliminates the game play requirement to get it on an alt. and when it comes to min/maxing, it has less to do with completism and more to do with getting the highest stats possible.
  14. and therein lies the problem - expectations not matching reality does not mean contractual fulfillment has not been met.
