Honestly, if you can't be somewhat competetive in recruit gear. It's not the fault of the game. It's that you are bad. You need to adjust your playstyle to suit the conditions. This isn't 10-49 where you have been blasting lowbies. You are the lowbie again, and you should honestly be able to stack full BM in a week. If you can't compete once you get BM, then just unsub.

Why should I have to participate in your preferred content to compete in mine? And vice versa, I'm sure you would prefer I not show up in PvP gear to tank your raid. Reality is that I have never done one instance in this game beyond Esseles, and I don't intend to start. If it was a requirement I would no longer play at all. BTW a SKILLED player in FREE recruit gear can compete. You just have to really play your class. and not try to faceroll.

Complaining that Sentinel needs some tweak to make it stronger, also not very bright.

No matter what PvE gear you have, and no matter what changes were made. You will still be a joke without expertise.

The machanic is not broken, clearly it is the OP's ability to counter it. Guard is pretty much one of the cornerstones of the defensive spec for PvP. Without that you remove pretty much any incentive for people to Spec in to a tank role, and there are very few as it is.

With smart play, there is no reason a good player cannot be competetive in recruit gear. You won't be a world breaker, but it is not unheard of to do well. Lazy play will definitely get you served though.

It's Bioware's fault that they did not provide a function to copy characters to the PTS. Who the hell wants to level up to see how they will be effected at 50? I watch DBA's transfer much larger databases on a daily basis. Having people be able to do this on their PTS should have been a priority. At this point I think we could easily say that a lot of the money put in to cutscenes and voice acting would have been better spent elsewhere. In the end it's like Bioware didn't really want to build an MMO. And they are clearly fumbling the ball with the lobby game they have built.

I was more talking about the complaints people have with feeling weaker, and less tanky. I didn't experience this. I'm used to playing with one of the top premades on The Fatman, but I was queuing solo last night with no healers and didn't feel squishy at all. I actually felt a lot stronger with some skills pulled off the GCD, and heat/ammo requirements changed on some things.

I have been Iron Fist pretty much since hitting 50. Last night I was still a threat to kill 1 person when i was being 2v1'd, and competently surviving 3v1's until help arrived. And I'm still using Champ gear with surge mods. I think that our AoE is better since it actually goes off quickly and rattles a bunch of hits off quickly.

The ergonomics of the Naga are bad if you use right and left click for movement. Probably not as bad if you WASD. I don't. I'm still using my 5 year old G5. But i'm leaning towards the g700. I find the logitech ergonomics to be better for my hand as I use a logitech at work also. No problems with logitech software either. I think Razer makes good stuff....for certain people.

They are waiting until they have overwhelming numbers, once that happens then they are all hardcore.

Exactly, If people quit because they lost to guildies, then the guild is weak and that weakness needs to be cut out. Lets be realistic, it's probably some guild that mass recruits on starter planets anyways.
