  1. Join the rest of us who feel this way and leave on the 20th. I sure as hell won't be wasting my time listening to the same dialogue over and over again for every character I roll looking for the 3 differences in tone that they have throughout the whole game.
  2. Also - the highest selling RPG in the world is Pokemon at 215 million... only 213 million to go SWTOR! FInal Fantasy ring any bells? Pretty sure they've sold a lot more than 2 million as well.
  3. Not to mention these stats are bogus. I'm not a GW fan, have never played it before even, but they have sold over 6 million... I'm pretty sure EQ has sold quite a few as well as Mass Effect, which is also an RPG. Please get your facts right before making some crazy thread. Thanks.
  4. I know, god forbid anyone complain about something they are paying for. Greedy bastards
  5. Probably because it was marketed as an MMORPG with end game that it doesn't have.
  6. The problem is... you don't have to play video games too much to be level 50 in this amount of time. I was in no rush to 50 and I have already made it. There is just a lack of content and fast leveling.
  7. I think there is a misunderstanding in this thread. I don't think the OP is talking about the DIFFICULTY of fighting mobs but the tedium of it. For those that don't know... it means to be tedious - which is different from difficult. Tedious means too long, slow, dull. Which explains exactly what silvers are like. They aren't hard or difficult, they are tedious fights which put people to sleep.
  8. It is actually has nothing to do with the future of humanity. What it means is that the majority of people would never dream of being this evil in real life... that is why people play video games, specifically RPGs... to play things that they are not. A lot more people relate to the Republic side as the good side, the side most of us would probably be on in real life. But this isn't real life, and I don't want to play a good guy in real life and a video game....
  9. This pretty much explains how I feel about the game at this point.
  10. Judging by the ****** implementation of pretty much every standard MMORPG feature... I'd hate to see how they attempted player housing.... This game is good for one thing - proving that voice acting cannot make up for a **** game behind it.
  11. I agree. I especially dislike the flashpoint bosses. Most of them are tank and spank and have a lot of health with no special abilities... making it pretty much a 3 minute face roll fight. The solo silvers/golds are like this too. Most of them are not hard, just boring to fight because they take SOOOO long, even as a DPS spec.
  12. Yea but the other MMORPGs don't make me listen to the same ****** dialogue every time. THey just give me the quest, I go kill the mobs, and I'm done. Immersion is great until you have to grind immersion. When it comes to grinding quests, which contrary to fanboi belief this game still has a lot of when it comes to alts, mindless and less immersion are better.
  13. So. Have good groups that you have to wait 5 hours for... or have mostly good groups, occasional turds, but get in and get the flashpoint done in a reasonable amount of time... I think the winner is obvious. I don't know about you, but I have other things to do than stand around and spam /1 for 5 hours looking for a tank.
  14. STORY I TELL YOU! STORY! But really... I guess I misunderstood Bioware. When they said they were using the 4th pillar of story, I didn't know they meant they would forget about the other 3 pillars.
