    • The client_setting file applies to both your new and old swtor accounts, pasting the content of the client_setting file asked for 7 days ago likely would of sped things up  I would suggest on a gfx card like the one you are using to not set the gfx setting to higher then high , if set higher the system may also fail to load , deleting the client_setting file may help to get back in game in cases like that Example of needing to delete the client_setting file with a intel video card https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/Game-Freezing-since-7-4-patch/m-p/13298552/highlight/true#M106274 this just lowers the gfx quality etc as i suggested earlier in this thread
    • After I did even further research. My Main account works now... ...I deleted the client_settings.ini and I can log in and play with my main account. Thank you.
    • Both We've been burned so many times we've mostly given up on it. But also we've tried queueing flashpoints as a group of three with a tank, a dps, and a healer, just needed one DPS. Here's where it gets fun: My friend on sage heals gets added as a DPS when it pops. We drop confirm he's set heals only and try again: Same thing. I swap to a DPS (assassin, just role swapped, but logged out and back in after), he swaps to tank and we queue. No pop. I swapped to my sage discipline and just to test it I queued as HEALS only. We popped. With me on DPS. We only popped if one of us was sage, and it put us in the wrong role for two different people (I filed a bug report) So yeah, it's STILL broken as hell, and basically useless and that's why nobody uses it. Adding more stuff to it will not improve on that sadly.
    • Steve is spot on. Go to your phone's settings and make sure you enable set Time/Date/Timezone automatically. The TOTP code is calculated based on a the current UTC/GMT time, so if you're out of sync, you will fail to match what the server is expecting. The security key isn't proprietary to EA/Bioware/Broadsword. As such, the devs are abandoning the further costs and labor for the app. For what it's worth, I recommend finding a computer based TOTP password generator so you're not tethered to your phone just to play the game, and you can utilize copy-paste for faster and more accurate log ins. I use a browser extension that allows me to have the key copied to clipboard with as few as 2 clicks. I can then just Ctrl+V during log in.
    • Personally, I like the assembly components. I pre-craft a ton of them and they're just kicking around ready to go for whatever I want to craft anyway, but I was able to farm the XP out of them. And I don't do any exterior spreadsheet tracking or anything, I do the math real quick if I'm short on mats but most of the time, I just have enough already. But if you know what goes into components, you can just as quickly know how many mats you need for each item. If you don't, you can look in the skill window how many the assembly components take and you now know exactly what mats you need still at a glance. No spreadsheet needed.   I think I need to start a spreadsheet for tracking who has what skills and gear on them though lol
