Hello everyone!

PTS is now live! Players can experience the changes to Amplifiers and Uprisings.

Amplifiers
The team reorganized the Amplifiers user interface (UI) for a better browsing experience. Previously, Amplifiers were organized in alphabetical order. Now, they are organized with a tree-based view:
Players can expand a specific Amplifier type to see all the Amplifiers available in that category or collapse the category to hide them. This change also reduces the default list.

A new tier of Rarity has been added to improve the visibility and readability of Amplifiers. In addition to the existing tiers: the Premium (Green), Prototype (Blue), Artifact (Purple), and Legendary (Gold) tiers, there is now a rarity for the lowest tier: Standard (White). No Amplifier values and no odds to obtain specific Amplifiers have been changed.

We’re also introducing Rarity Locking as a way for players to exchange credits for greater chances at obtaining the Amplifiers they want. This feature is costly due to the improvements it grants, so it has been coupled with the Weekly Cost Reset to allow players to save credits by waiting for more re-rolls.

Every re-roll of an amplifier increases the cost, up to 100 re-rolls. Each Tuesday, re-roll costs will be reset to their starting costs!

Uprisings
All Uprisings are now available at level 75 with a rebalance of the difficulty and time they take to complete. Along with those changes, loot drops have been increased in all Uprisings.

Hey Daniel, great to see changes to the amplifier system being made. Looking forward to testing then, however how can I download the PTS through the steam launcher? I don't see any options there regarding PTS.

A price adjustment to the Amplifer system is long over due and it seems it is not happening.
Amplifer rolling should have a fixed price.
This is just a bad format of gambling which unfortunately one needs if you want to gear properly, especially on the mods which affect you performances or you need to have to be BiS for end game content.
Amplifers in the version they are in are an ugly version of a cash cow, something which the current Swtor Dev team seems to manage to do worse to previous versions.

So far, I see that tree list only on the potential amplifiers. It would be more important for the list of current amplifiers, and even better would be having the total sum of that type of amplifier in the category header, and the categories being sorted by combat-related effects (armorings) first and then the QOL stuff from mods and shells. At the moment, the list of current amplifiers seems to be sorted randomly and its stuck to the character sheet with no way to minimize it.

Please return a button to open the amplifier list and have it closed by default. As it is now on the PTS, we can't have 3 inventory type windows open (bank, inventory, char sheet) without the amplifier list covering one of them.
Let us turn off that gaudy flashing icon over every vendor's head.
Let us sort our companion list and hide or kick out the unwanted ones!
