I agree that premades should be removed, but probably in ALL wartypes.

Guys its not a question or removing them, that will never happen, nor should it. Its an MMO, people need the ability to actually play with friends in all facets of the game.

The issue is balancing them as much as possible either by matching them up against each other, ensuring that the sides are balanced with a premade on each side as opposed to super queues in 8 mans, and/or trying to ensure that the roles are balanced whereas if one side has heals/tanks that the other does as well.

The goal isnt to remove social play, thats silly... the goal is to try to create a balanced match as much as possible and eliminate the faceroll matches with pre-determined outcomes. Thats all any PvPer worth 2 cents should ever ask for, let the rest sort itself out on the field.

Agreed. I'd gladly wait a few minutes longer for balanced teams.

As for the incoming "get yourself a group instead of complaining", well, due to recent patches you can't queue for multiple activities such as PVP, GSF and any kind of PVE simultaneously while in a group, you must pick one. So for those players who have more things in this game than PVP, but still consider PVP more then a farming method and like to play good matches with a chance to win (and yes, we exist. Killed Revan HM, several NiM bosses, soloed KOFTE+KOTET MM, good in GSF, and good in PVP when not matched with bad groups versus premades, all in the same lifetime with less than 6h a day), the "get a group" is irrelevant. Also, "get a group" is not enough of an answer when faced with a TS premade, because pugged premade from fleet will be stomped by them all the same [and with my solution, if there is one TS premade with no opposition, then pug premades can stop queueing together to avoid them], and it is unfair and unrealistic to ask everyone who hates getting stomped to just stop playing in the hours in which his TS-available friends aren't available.
The option queue solo was not created for "hope there isn't a premade to have a chance at winning", and the option to queue premades was not created for "satiate your sadistic lust for a good stomp when playing like a NiM boss versus noobs because you aren't good enough to win otherwise". There should have been balance with the 2 together, and this balance usually doesn't happen, so instead, the option we are left with is total seperation.

And Bioware would not have to spend all that much time to implement a group and solo queue - they already did that for Ranked. Just duplicate it for unranked. Problem solved!

You cant separate the queues at this point ,it isnt feasible. I used to feel the same but no, its just not viable. Hell it isnt done in the largest MMO there is why would it be done here?

Frankly i kinda like having them in the general population queues for the challenge, its just that many times it get carried away and its 8 randoms versus a super q, especially with the recent run to pubs to queue sync.

Dont ask to separate them, dont ask to ban them, the only thing you can ask with even a glimmer of hope is that it try to balance them in some manner, at least in terms of the roles and team numbers per match.

why are people running 2x heals + skanker premade? can you win anything besides huttball and voidstar D with it?

btw if they locked reg wzs by discipline (2x skanker, 2x healers, 4 dps) this game would be SO FUN.

Yes, which is why they do it. Even against good teams that know how to deal with a healer and tank combo, they can usually last long enough on nodes for reinforcements to get there to prevent caps.

There are always exceptions of course, but usually two skanks and two healers is a win if the other team has less or none of either. The outliers are matches where the two-skank & two healer premade has four teammates that do terrible DPS.

Good to see that after a nearly two year hiatus bads are still complaining about people with friends who can press buttons in a more optimal order to do increased damage and healing.

Or perhaps they are complaining because something ain't right in Kansas. A lot of things have changed in 2 years.
Maybe see what's up before you start calling people bads.
