Hooks are hooks. They are still hooks. They shoould not be hooks.

That said, they have added a bunch of new hooks in the Manaan and Umbara strongholds. Sorry, that's not fair. They added two new strongholds.

Manaan is a mediumish stronghold with water you can jump in (and die, sadly, still no swimming) but you can also go downstairs and look out the windows underwater. There are hooks outside underwater, but be aware that the hooks in this stronghold are poorly placed. Almost all ceiling hooks are on sloping surfaces, which will make "dangling" decorations look a bit strange.

Umbara is gated on earning 60 boss-kill reward tokens (max 6 per "story" run, 12 per "veteran" run, or 24 per "master" run(1), max 50 per week, character-bound) to be able to buy the pass that lets you in the room where the "purchase" terminal is found. It isn't very expensive once you get in there, though. Again, not a great hook placement. (Some wags would have you believe that it's worse than the hook placement on Manaan. They aren't wrong.)

Some new decorations, and somewhere along the way the limits on lots of decorations were raised. Felucia Stato's limit was finally raised from 4 to 10 so you can place her in all your strongholds.
