Got an arena last night sniper + 3 mercs as the opposing team. - Luckily we co-ordinated okay ( for a PUG) and they fell apart after their first death. - But that happens a lot - A lot of Mercs in any team, arena and regs. - So its still FOTM, whatever the changes. They can still be real hard to kill 1v1 on a lot of specs. - As soon as you cut them down to around 30% they just bounce back up again, and again and again.

But for the most part, If you just do WZ for a bit of fun, who really cares that much. Yeah some classes seem over-tuned, but you'll never get true balance without a major overhaul. BW can't even spare the time to tinker very much.

The importance of imbalance is shown when playing against good teams and not the re-rollers you described.
On the same skill level they would have evaporated one of your team.

You know, tossing one utility from Mercs to Powertechs is not a major overhaul...

Its easy to defeat a Merc.. specially with the tone down in dps.. any two players can easily defeat a merc, and in single combat, a Mara, jugg, Operative can defeat a merc.. Soonest Trauma Regulator pops just step back for a few seconds.. then Merc is all yours.. as a matter fact.. you don't see them often in Rank wz after the done down..

I feel like the reflect shield would make alot more sense on powertechs.
