Hey I need some help from an expert and im sure there are some here..

I get anything from 10-40 fps in SWTOR.. I run lowest graphics with shadows off and low res etc I was thinking of buying a new graphics card cuz i know mine is weak for gaming but I don't know if my other stuff is good enough.

I wanna buy a new one..but I don't know how you check if it's useable with the motherboard.. Can u explain how to check it please? And also do you know any good graphic cards if I wanna play at best graphics and still get good fps and lagfree game? And for future games like Diablo 3

I heard these were good enough to run SWTOR at highest setttings from another site but I wanna comfirm it.. If it will work well with future games aswell thanks!

Radeon HD 6750

I have heard that SWTOR has some issues with AMD graphics cards, so I would go with a GeForce card myself. It could of course have something to do with drivers and other computer components, that is causing the issues.

What card should you get? The one you can afford. I'm actually surprised you say you're having problems with your current card. I run maxed with a 5870 and have fps to spare. I'm not saying you should get a 5870, just that a super high end card is complete overkill for this game.

none of those are very good and from the looks of that list you're budget is fairly low so I would have to suggest a GTX 460, should be able to find one for around $100, anything from MSI or Evga would be good.

to find out your motherboard go to Start, in the search programs windows type dxdiag and under system model it should show the model # of the board, then just look it up on Google for the specs

I have a 6850, and I run the game on everything maxed (including optimal quality in amd control center) and I almost always get 60-70 fps.

Radeon 6850. I am using the 6850 and am achieving upwards of 50+ FPS on highest settings, 1600x900.

Anything else is a waste of money. Trust me on that.

Clearly you don't know much about GPUs. My GPU can withstand Battlefield 3 on high reaching a frame-rate of about 45 - 60fps at 1600x900.

They are fantastic bang-for-your-buck cards.
