I play on pub side harby. Formerly vigi guardian now skank. Usually with friends though. It is sad how one sided harby tends to be though.

3-4 PM pacific time is usually a niche time that I've seen works well for pub pvp. All the imp premades and are not on around that time, so it tends to be more yolo vs yolo, and pubs stand a way better chance when its like that. I play my scroundrel healer around that time and knock out the daily in 2 matches or so. I normally try and a chip away at the weekly as well but its pretty surprising how fast the que can tank over there, all it takes is a few horrific loses and thats my que to stop que'ing, lol.

I just think it's a matter of queing at those times when imp premades are not rolling around the clock for a few hours, like later in the night, forget about it - just go imp side and pvp against other imps (speaking pacific time). But if you wanna get in some matches that are decent on the repub side you either have to wait for healer/tank combo trains that pubs run often later in the night (with Pro-Awe spammers, like whoa, Awe is a staple repub skill apparently) or get in some matches earlier in the day before imp trains comes on.
server: The Hot Prospect (10/4/2017 #NEVERFORGET)
Characters: Olivia Munn / Rashida Jones / Alicia Keys / Denzel Washington

Tre, ebon hawk best bet for pub pvp.
You should try t3. Ull find reps very strong there. As to tre, yeah it is pretty balanced now since most of the skilled imps went ranked instead of unranked, and reps actually decided to retaliate

I go where my ping allows me. Tre is a server I would like like to play on. When I get better rig may put few pub toons there.
Caeliux/Xuileak = Kinetic/Seer/Defense/Combat/Medic/Shield Specialist/Sawbones/Saboteur
Kaeliux/Xuileac = Bodyguard/Shield Tech/Medicine/Engineer/Darkness/Corruption/Immortal/Carnage

Well... I expected more quality on Harbinger... Iam disappointed.

Another thing: Ppl on this server are quitting a warzone way too soon...
Are you guys not able to lose?
This is exactly the point. Most imps are just wimps that would never have a chance on pub side, and are imp just for the easy wins (in the rare case when pub v imp happens). And 5.x ruined it because once everyone flocked to imp with main char, now have massive gear advantage to that faction.

As far as the "Are you guys not able to lose?", I think it's sort of about how worn down the bad imbalance makes people. In 4.x pub would win like 25%-35%, people would hang in more. But when pubs are on a 250 losses in a row streak over last couple months, losing gets sort of old and people have no patience for it anymore.

There are only 2 viable things that can save PvP on swtor:
1.) Make all warzones cross faction.
or
2.) Cancel PvP until 6.0 comes out perhaps may have a better gearing system.

Running solo makes it bad. Try to group up with competent players you meet in wz to make it less painful. Gave Harby pub side a try on Friday night with non-guild premade that formed after one match together, and we didn't lose a match all night. My sent started and finished weekly plus a few more just for funsies. Tried again sat night with under-gearded guildies, and we were around 50-50. Don't be shy about asking folks to group--others want a chance to win as much as you do.

I mean Imps especially.
I think Pubs are used to lose matches so they do not quit.
I played several games on Imp yesterday and witnessed that Imps are tend to quit more often if they are about to lose.

That is a bit of an unfair generalization I think. Most matches on TRE seems to be Imp Vs. Imp these days, so it's not like we are face-rolling pubs in every match. Additionally, most matches against pubs tend to be against their healer / tank premades...

I been playing pub side on Harb exclusively for a month or so now and it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Almost always I duo queue with a DPS and we do pretty good. Just like imp side you get games with who are uncarriable or bad. If you happen to get against the same premade or with the same dead weight just leave and re-queue. There is normally multiple cycles going everyday so you can just hop in another game rather quickly.

Weekends and Friday night tend to always be the worst because of the quality of players queuing up. The weekends normally has a large amount of people who queue up casually but not play often so you get a lot of lopsided matches.

Majority of my experiences playing pub side it is just as bad as imp side. You get bad games and good games. If you are queue synced with bad players on your side or vs constant premades, there is no harm in dropping out and requeuing a couple seconds later.
