Switching Guild Stronghold

I made a short video demonstrating how we deactivated the Manaan Guild Stronghold and reactivated our old fully unlocked Dromund Kaas Guild Stronghold.

Some people were unsure if guild strongholds work the same way as personal ones were all the room unlocks are already open after you pay the reactivation fee. The answer is yes. Keep in mind you still have to redecorate as all decorations would of been automatically picked up when you deactivated it.

We bought and unlocked the Manaan Stronghold as a guild asset so our members could check it out before deciding to buy it for themselves. With no producer response to all the players asking if the stronghold will be expanded or if the hook placements will be fixed we decided it was time to switch back to our Dromund Kaas Embassy.

Hope this helps those wondering about guild strongholds.

Is there any purpose to guild SH apart from social area? Does it give some sort of bonus?
Choices matter... I choose not to sub until conquest is fixed...

Having a guild ship lets you invade planets as part of the weekly conquest event. The planet based strongholds serve no real purpose besides being social hangouts. Most of our guild members prefer to hang out on the guild ship so they can see Fleet chat. Planet chat is mostly dead or just guild recruitment spam.

Thought so. We use our SH for undisturbed dueling, and ship for about everything else.
