hacking again in ranked.

they are not again active, they are still playing.
some changed their ingame-names, that's it.

you can see that in the leaderboards, too.
still the same hackers and wintraders.

the problem is, that bioware doesn't care about,
because they still think, that taking away their
rating at the end, is enough. they doesn't notice,
that the fair players are losing fun in playing pvp.

but to be honest, i could understand them, too.
we have a hugh balancing problem,
we can't play with alts in a competetive way,
because it needs dozents of hours to equip them
and at least you are still playing against the same
hand full of players, because the most won't even
queue for ranked, because of many reasons, the
behaviour included.
all we get are appeasements, that it will be changed
soon™.
soon™ since over half a year.

so if you only pvp in swtor and there is nothing
worth playing it anymore, you have the choice to
do this unfair protest, or just leaving the game.
many already left.

MAC addresses? You want that the game should send your MAC address to Bioware to ensure that you're not playing on a banned computer? (Also: banning a computer is a bad idea for the other person who plays using his own account on the same computer...)

Or did you mean IP addresses? (In which case you end up banning a whole college dorm or address-deficient ISP that uses Carrier Grade NAT.) And the cheater just reboots his router to see if that gives him a different, non-banned, IP address.

Like was said above it makes no sense to let a hacker or Win trader back in the game to keep that revenue when you likely are losing exponentially more revenue by others leaving the game in frustration because you did let them go right back to cheating or hacking...and they will, be sure of that.

It's the same old story with this game/EAware... they just don't believe in the "it takes money to make money" theory...They have taken the invest as little as possible and try to refine monetization path, clearly!

To put it simply... They are cheap! and that's why they cannot stop the cheating and Hacking...It is NOT because they can't...It IS because they have chosen not to invest the funds to stop it.
I agree, cheating should be a perma ban, but, it would need to be able to be ascertained with hard evidence, otherwise people would just start reporting everyone they didn't like. - With proof in hand, they should send them packing.

I tend to think there is a very logical reason behind why they tolerate cheating in the manner they do and from a business point of view [after all BW is a business, it's in it for the money], perma banned cheaters who are subs effect their revenue from Subs. I can't imagine why else they'd turn a blind eye.

The counter argument to that is, by not banning them this in turn pisses off legitimate players and can effect them in the same manner should legitimate players get fed up with it and leave the game. This however is theoretical sub losses, where as perma banning is guaranteed loss of sub revenue.

What people need to realize is that they are a US based company with laws and regulations of that country. It takes time for them to act. Would be same if the company were situated in Germany for example, maybe even worse.

Now if they would have their HQ in Russia for example, i bet they would bann those hackers in seconds and even send some trojans to their computer to mess them up

especially in germany it would be that way,
that bioware/ea has to deal with the german law
in front of a german court, because of many reasons.
it is not possible for them, claiming their us laws.

but that doesn't matter, because by harming their eula
in that way, enable them to ban the account, even in
germany. banning an account, or resetting everything
to zero, would be okay with every german law. if it will
be a topic later, they only need to give them access to
special useable items, like movies or soundtracks, but
they can ban them completly from the game.

but as it was said, they would lose a sub for sure.
just by saying, that they will do something soon,
the most people get calmed down. so a walk
between the lines.

Wouldn't help. Takes two seconds to change a mac address in windows, even if it's hardwired in your card.

I'd post a reference link but I'm sure that would be frowned upon. I get enough nasty grams around here from staff.

No, it wouldn't. You pretty much signed away all of your rights when you started playing this game. You also agreed that either side can terminate your access to this game at any time for any reason.

'german law' is an oxymoron.

Approach this problem with an in game ticket;

Header >> Inappropriate player behavior
>Server Name<
>Time< >Timezone<
>Warzone name<
>Guild/player name<
>Describe observation/ToS violation<

Keep the ticket clean from profanity or other display of frustration.

A little Shout out to Hannah at CS who answered with in 90 seconds the other night!

Have a look, the guy was trolling. He posted in ever Hack thread to get them all on the same page. He necroed a lot from years ago.
If you investigate further you will see it's the resident hack troll trying to get attention, you know the guy.. J**Z**
It's better to just ignor him.
