Always show helmet

Please take a look at this picture,
https://ibb.co/ji7P6Q

This is my droid bounty hunter who has been bringing meatbags to justice every since it's creation. Cold Durasteel and firm logic drives this hunter in her quest to bring justice to this chaotic universe. But there is one problem, every time she goes to chat with her companions or in certain cut scenes her beautiful robotic cranium is replaced with fleshy organic parts! This really ruins the mood.

Proper selection of armors and you can totally get rid of all organic material on your character and have a full droid character but can we please have a button to always show helmet so in cut scenes they look how we want them to? Many of the other types of armor can benefit from this as well. The headband from the Wicked Huntress set really doesn't need to come off during conversations and it would be more natural for the headpiece from the Ghostly Malgus set to remain on as well.

I'm not asking for much, just a toggle next to the 'never show helmet' button that is 'always show helmet'.

Such anomalies are quite common in cutscenes. It would be nice if they spent more time fixing things like that instead of doing random stuff like redoing the galactic map for no apparent reason.

It also has issues with showing colors correctly. For example, if your chest is black, and your boots are blue, it will end up showing your blue boots even when you have used the unify color option and your boots appear black in game.

it's not just helmets not showing up when they should in cutscenes, it's also specific outfits. i got a smuggler running around in alliance targeters gear from the rewards in prelude to SoR, but half the time he shows up in some gear that looks like something from oricon for the imperial agent that was for 156 rated gear only it's more gray in primary color.

a few thing there ruin the mood, i got two characters that always have their helmets on regardless, a SI and JK to preserve the mystery of who and what they are but they show up without their helmets on.

I'm not talking about bugs in cut scenes but how BW set it up with headpieces. In a lot of cut scenes and I think all companion conversation in chapters 1-3 the game is programmed to remove the headpiece. But it treats all headpieces the same, whether it's a Mandalorian helmet or a Cybernetic Cranium.

I just want the option to show, not show, or let the game decide when I have my headpiece on. Most helmets it makes sense to remove it when you are having a chat but with some pieces it makes no sense, like the Cybernetic Cranium and the Ghostly Malgus headpiece. And there are other times that the headpiece, like the Wicked Huntress headpiece, where it wouldn't interfere with the conversation, or a possible kiss, and I would like for it to show.

A toggle on the character sheet would allow this. It may cause some strange looking scenes during romances but not any stranger than a cybernetic head turning into a flesh head all of a sudden just because you are in a cut scene. Besides, my droid bounty hunter isn't really interested in romancing anyone (Except maybe HK-51...)

Yeah, this was a really poor design choice that I'm actually a little surprised was never altered.
Back in the early days of TOR, before all the cool cosmetic gear, I decided to make a Sith Warrior and have her go the Malgus/Vader/Malak route and have her require a breathing apparatus to...you know, ......breath.
I held on to that idea as long as I could, but I hated all of the scenes disabling her mask or helmet and just ended up scrapping the whole thing.
I know a few people who have tried to Droid roleplay and it takes a lot of strength to ignore your head turning all fleshy off and on throughout the story.

I understand that they had this feature in place so that our headgear didn't clip with romance scenes, but it should have been our choice. I mean, if you really don't want to headbutt someone in the face when you smooch them, then Esc out of the cutscene, take your helm off, restart the scene. It really should have been that simple.
Instead, we are left with a system that kicks the RPG part of the MMORPG right in the face.

I recently scrapped using an eye patch on one of my characters after I remembered that they were going to disable it every time I spoke to my companions. Wouldn't be so bad if they had given us dead eye options, but they didn't.
I once shot a man just to watch him die, but then I got distracted and missed it.

I stamped a black dye on my SI's belt. Some cut scenes it's black. Some it's bright blue like her shirt. Ended up changing the belt.
Thank you to everyone who has used my referral link over the years and to all of the wonderful people I've met on here.

Exactly. Why even give us something like a eye patch when it gets removed in conversations? Certain headgear options should always show.

And once again my request for this slowly gets buried which means the Devs probably won't even see it let alone think about it. I will keep trying! You have not heard the last of me!!!!

I guess at least the devs weren't parading around with droid helmets on for the cantina event, like they did for poor Alex_Fortescue and his (very reasonable) request for Jedi robes!

.......and now we just wait for the request for the tracer missile animation to start again.

Given how long these two things have been requested, plus hood toggle (by many people, not just the same people frequently), I wish you luck with your request.
