Ravage!!!???

Yep, ravage is pretty bad. On the other hand, I can move while using it, so no biggie (Granted, I'll always miss the old ravager).

There's a pretty condescending attitude by the fans of the new attack, in that they think people who prefer ravage are idiotic pretty boys who'd use the skill, watch it, and then get killed because of it.

Of course they aren't going to stand in dangerous terrain, any more than a sage, merc or sniper would (although the sniper might, if they have Entrench specced to resist aoe damage. Dunno). If there's a telegraph on you, you move, even if you don't get the last hit on Blade Dance.

Now I have nothing to do with my extra GCD. Strike? Either I have so much Focus I don't know what to do with it, or that 1 focus isn't going to help much. Slash? Using that takes me from the former problem with Strike to the latter. Awe, since it has a new advantage? Doesn't recharge nearly as fast as Blade Dance did.

You don't go taking out skills for no good reason. If you wanted people to use this skill, then give it a shared cooldown. See how many people use that over an impressive, useful skill.

They gave us a optional root and more mobility...and we found a way to complain about it from a purely cosmetic standpoint. Sigh...

A game is more than just numbers. Take away fun and interesting aspects why bother? I want to play a Sith/Jedi and feel epic not press 12345 on my keyboard. I want to fly into the air and lay waste to the ground below on my Bounty Hunter and enjoy the experience not just blinding pressing 12345.

Blade dance on the other hand looks bloody sensational-
glad i play a guardian about time jedi abilities look better than the sith counterparts

I have to agree with this. The blade dance side twist is awesome and reminds me of the teras kasi stuff from swg.

Front flipping in combat is just asinine. You can't even see your landing.

The animation is also almost as long as the original ravage was. I'm already starting the next ability before it's done. So, why not leave the original one?

I had a dream...that I would wake up and will start to like the new ravage animation - didn't happen, but it's starting to be meh from uuuugh😬
I have a proposition for all of us that hate/do not like the new animation.
Since there is already a shared animation - Crushing Blow = Guardian Slash ( which btw Buy 'o Ware has finally fixed, took them 4 years for that), why don't they use the same animation from the rep side? The Blade Barrage looks a bit better, and at least it has something new in it?
I'm going to write that in game everyday I log in...let's unite and see if we can sway them!

WOW! They actually changed one of the coolest animations to be one of the stupidest moves my Juggernaut now makes.
