We all have questsions about the new update, but it is hard to find every question in the forums.

Let us collect the questions in one single thread, this one.

What happens to the unused Operations-Tokens?

 

What about all the other ingame currencies?

 

Will the DvL-Event stop completely with the addon,

or will just the rewards stop?

Finishing 100% legacy after DvL-Event

Will there be an update about detailed class-changes,

or can you confirm the published on different sites?

 

Will every member of a raid-group get an cXP-Booster,

or is that like a former token, you need to roll on?

 

What about rewards from different content, like PvP?

Is there a token for the dailies and weeklies, or bei winning

a match? If it is by quests, will the quests be changed?

 

What would be the upcoming max. command rank and

how much cXP you need for it?

 

What command rank you need for what type of crate?

 

Will the weapon outfitter come, to improve our style and your

cartell market sales?

 

Can you give us a very rough overview about the future plan

of SWToR?

Maybe the transfer to the Frostbite-Engine?

 

What is your wish, to get more helpfull feedback from us?

1) Are there going to be CXP boosters on the GTN? Is that going to be the only way to obtain them? Do you fully understand the pay-to-win implications of putting them on the GTN?

 

Partially answered: There are are going to be CXP boosts on the cartel market.

2) Are there any updates on server merges/"better than cross-server"?

 

Not answered.

 

3) What are the rules on farming CXP? If we find an efficient way of farming CXP, and we hit the weekly cap, is that against the rules?

 

Partially answered: Most likely you will not hit the cap. If you do it depends what you did to get there if any action will be taken against you.

 

4) Are there going to be incremental class balance changes throughout 5.0?

 

Not answered.

 

5) Could you go into some of the thought process leading into 4.0 that lead you to focus solely on solo content, and neglect group content for an entire year? Looking back in hindsight at the 2016 population plummet, would you have done it differently?

6) Now that we have hit the 2 year mark since the last operation was released, do you have any comment on past statements that we would never go another 14 months without a new operation?

2. How many tiers of gear will there be? And how are they distributed across the GC ranks?

3. What will the RNG drop rate be for set pieces (2% at opening box? 5%? 10%?). In other words, give us stats!

4. How long will it take on average to level up one GC rank?

5. What is the required rating gear for HM and NiM OPS in 5.0?

6. When will there be server merges?

7. What will the new group content be after Uprisings and DvL?

8. What do the new abilities look like?

9. Are you implementing a back up system for gear, in case people have unlucky RNG? Any other system than crafting.

On https://www.hardcoregamer.com/2016/11/22/knights-of-the-eternal-throne-is-star-wars-bioware-at-its-best/236704/ was an article about SWTOR, stating: "There isn’t a new raid coming with this update; SWTOR isn’t raid focused and probably never will be". Another statement is: "Replacing new raid content in this expansion are Uprisings. These four player fast-paced dungeons will throw you right into the action."

Has this form of reasoning been given by a developer to them, or are they making stuff up?

11. When will the people who subscribed before the 4th of october get their 30 days free subscription (as was stated within the marketing e-mail)? Not a single person has received it up until this date.

Those two. I'd like to see more information and interaction on these forums from the developers, not some program to silence / bribe the streamers / podcasters from remaining neutral and giving a true opinion of the state of the game.

Question:

 

Is the Dark Vs Light Galactic Conquest/control/thingie faction specific. That is if my Dark Side Jedi goes darkside and Darkside win will it be Sith (i.e. Imperial NPCs) that spawn OR will it be a mix of sith and dark Jedi that Spawn? While my Dark Jedi may be a Dark Jedi this does not make him a Sith or to have fought for the Empire, so I don't want to be supporting the opposing faction and will select Lightside.

 

Question:

 

Will the story continue to reward lightside, cowardly and whimpy choices where love and forgiveness are the most power things in the galaxy or will Darkside, Pragmatic and difficult choices be reward. Where actions have consequences and love and forgiveness do not fix everything and forgiving your enemy just allows them to stick a knife in your back.

 

Case in point Chapter 1 of Kotet has been released, Arcann can be spared or he can be killed. Will Sparing someone that killed millions, engaged in wars and oribital bombardments, froze you in carbonate, killed his brother. etc etc etc be met with universal applause and waves of love spread out across the galaxy magically fixing everything he ever did, where a few people grumble but ultimately smile and say its for the best. Where as killing him will lose you 2 companions, insight into the eternal throne, some how play into Valkorians plans and have no or a detrimental effect to your war effort.

 

i.e. in short has the story gone fairy tale kingdom, where hugs are the most powerful thing in the galaxy and anyone who is not a four year old girl will find it tacky, implausible, sickening and insulting to call it Star Wars and ultimately be a sick joke by the creative team to see how bad they can make the Kotet story before Lucas Arts and Disney beg them to stop?

Are you improving the way your reward for partcipation in your twitch channel?

 

Its on a state of sorrow since the codes used today go very fast and useless. Why dont you add UNIVERSAL CODES instead like other MMOS have? or at least choose a winner from chat rather than give false hopes to people. Needs lots of improving for next time.

Q: If there are no more chapters coming out til next expansion, do you guys have anything planned to keep story players subscribed?

 

Redoing the content you've already done of course. They even added an extra difficulty mode for you. :p

 

With the 300 odd hours it will take your per toon to max your GC level that should take casual players half a year easily, add in an alt and voila there is your year of fun and enjoyment sorted. ;)

 

I'm getting the idea this game is now maintenance mode for 11 out of 12 months with a few wee uprisings thrown in during the year.

1 - It was stated that there would never be more than a year between the release of a new operation. We are going into a third year now without a new Operation. Why did you not keep this promise?

 

2 - In relation to the first question, why was it decided to invest capital in new group content [uprisings] instead of keeping your promise to release new operations at least once each year? Furthermore, why will you just not state openly whether or not you have any intention specifically of ever releasing another new Operation at anytime in the future? Even a definitive no would be welcome if such is this case, even if extremely disappointing.

 

3 - Are there any plans to address class balance issues? Why are differences in DPS output between classes being further widened in 5.0 when the player base has expressed it feels these differences should be lessoned for greater viability across all classes and specs for all modes of content?

 

4 - Do the developers really feel there are no class imbalances, in particular in PVP and how do they respond to a notable amount of the player base that does feel that class imbalances exist?

 

5 - Is there any consideration given to the possibility in the future of setting up a system whereby there is a seperation in class function between PVE and PVP so as to not make nerfs or buffs intended to offset an imbalance in one mode of play [pve or pvp] effect said classes in the other mode of play wherein the imbalance doesn't exist?
