I was trying to use google to search the forums, but the results are very old and the threads I need are no longer active, so here it goes (I imagine for the 10.000th time, sorry):

Why can't I choose wich attributes to increase on every level up, or at least how much to increase the primary attributes of my class?

Is there any math formula for attribute increase on level up?

Does anyone know a guide that talks about this?

You only have one primary attribute per class.

Warrior/Knight - Strength
Inquisitor/Consular - Will
Trooper/Bounty Hunter - Aim
Agent/Smuggler - Cunning

This game uses gear to progress your character. As you level you will have access to more powerful gear which will make your character more powerful. You do not manually assign points like in some RPG games.

The skill system allows you to customize and specialize your class every level from 10 until 50.

Hope that answers your question, the short answer is you do not manually assign attributes every level, you use gear and skills to make yourself more powerful.

Thanks Idyar.
This was something I've gotten used to, playing the KOTOR games and quite frankly, I miss it here.

But as you say, I just have to get better equipment.

Pretty much standard across MMOs. There is a fixed amount that stats and hp raise per lvl. These game are really all about dress up.
