Is that only for the credit sellers though, not the ones that actually tend to use the creds in game?

There is one dev most directly responsible for most of the bad decisions that have been made since 3.0, especially recently IMO....

Just one.

IMO if anyone needs to go, this person most definitely needs to move on to some other part of the company. Or at the very least get demoted.

Bans and punishment aren't enough, do what Wargaming did with the last bunch of their exploiters - publicly show the list of affected accounts. It will at least be a proof you actually did something.

It would also be nice to *********** FIX THE EXPLOIT AS SOON AS YOU FIND IT AND NOT WEEKS LATER. Even if you have to bring servers offline the community will understand it more than your lack of action.

I find it hard to believe that some vastly huge number of players were involved in the exploit.

Banning them would probably have little-to-no impact on the quantity of sub / F2P players in the game.

It's more like a big minority that simply just didn't care imo. WoT bans americans every second, and there player base is like 98% russian now but they don't care

I agree that they have no excuse for not fixing this as soon as they were made aware of it, which was weeks ago (according to those that investigated it and wrote up tickets explaining how it was happening to Bioware). Does that mean that people should use exploits like this or get a "free pass"? No. Some action should be taken, and it is up to BIOWARE to decide what that action should be and make it happen.

Dear Toxic Community of Lynch Mobbers: You are not responsible for deciding what happens to people in this game. Quit telling Bioware what to do to people. First, I'm pretty sure they aren't reading it and second it isn't helpful to fan the flames of an indignant population that feel somehow they should be in charge.

I'm always amazed/disturbed by the posts in response to these threads (and again, shame on you Bioware that there are so many of these situations!). That doesn't justify doing something obviously against the rules, just because Bioware is their own worst enemy... but quit with the pitchfork mentality. It makes you all seem like a bunch of rabid dogs at a Trump campaign rally. Let them do their job, thank them for doing their job, but shut up and realize it isn't your decision to make what happens as a result of issues like this. Your judgement isn't necessary, isn't helpful, and really just makes the toxic community that is SWTOR all the more poisonous.

As a QA tester... please stop assuming the "Fix Now" button is a thing.

But... but... Staples has the "Easy" buttons on SALE this week!

Maxim 37: There is no overkill, there is only "Open Fire" and "I Need to Reload."

People should state their opinions and feelings. What Bioware does is definitely driven by the majority of the player base, or should be.
