I've done more group content since 4.0 dropped than before. Being totally honest. I have reason to do the daily group finder with my guild mates. Run heroics and flashpoints with them. Guild activity is up. Morale is up. Level sync makes a lot of that possible.

I am relaying my real experiences with the change. I am not going off a feeling or making a purely emotional based claim. So while KotFE main story does feel like a single player RPG, the rest feels very much classic MMO. The only issue is the difficulty curve seems to have been ever so slightly under-tuned. After the over-tune for HM Ops in 3.0, I am kind of okay with this.

Edit: I welcome people who don't feel the game is fun to make the decisions they feel are necessary. But it is 100% necessary to form logical and non-emotional arguments when related to making changes to deeply-routed systems.

You can't do that to us. That's technically taking our rights to say "No". You can't force us. Everyone has the right to say "No". Even you too. Please guys:. Use your hearts. Ask yourselves. When playing this expansion 4.0 thing. Feels like you're playing a Single Player RPG Game?.

Also, I've playing single player games since I had a Atari 2600. So I know alittle more then you do. Except I need alittle memory jog. <--No Offense to you at all.

You're praising people who complain about 4.0 and you're questioning/arguing with those who like 4.0...

I am officially done talking to you. Bye

Now to you complainers: quit your griping already or get out of here. Level-sync is awesome and it's here to stay.
Sorry, no. Some of us have actually tried out the system fairly extensively.

As I expected prior to the expansion's release, I find level-sync a useful and pleasing addition in some in-game situations, and merely annoying and tiresome in others.

I don't expect that it will be removed (or even made non-mandatory), but there are changes that could be implemented to limit the negative impact in some cases. I'm still not sure whose great idea it was to scale the final boss fight of a class storyline to level 12 with no rebalancing.

Ah, So true. But you're decisions are based on emotions. Thanks so much. for that pep talk on welcoming me here. I took to this forum. Because, Star wars is part of my childhood. I've tried to spin my comments. In different more ways then Sunday. But people weren't getting me. That's all I'm going to say about that.

I do agree that there are some areas that need re-balancing. I don't see that as grounds for an effort to remove level sync or expend the resources to make it optional. I think the easiest way is to flag class story instances to be at level and throw in a bolster if that's what it takes to keep the casuals happy.

I still am not seeing much beyond your blanket agreement with people who say anything negative and appeal to emotions for the people who say anything positive. What is your 100% rational explanation for why Level Sync should be removed? Note: I don't want this argument to include anything about "heart" "think for a bit" or your childhood; simply because those are not the kind of factors that come into play for game design.

Il sum this up as best i can.....

Levels are completely pointless now, anyone over level 10 can do level 65 content (FP's / OPS) and everyone that is 65 gets dropped to a synced level that conforms to the planet...........Sorry but i didn't get to 65 so i could go back to Hoth for a resource farm and have to fight every mob on the planet i go near, if a player needed a hand with a heroic i could waltz it in 3 mins flat for them and they still received the quest xp for there level.....Needless to say noone actually needed to do heroics to advance in the first place.

Levels are redundant now. All this has achieved, is to make High level players that enjoyed Ops and FP into forced grouping with low / unskilled / one click players via GF (which is a good resource for daily Radiant and Glowing crystals). FPS / Heroics and OPS that were once quite fast and simple to manage are now full of players that cannot be bothered to read up on the requirements ( because they think bolster is sufficient enough) or how to do them.

Any player wishing to return to a low level planet for Companion kills or Achievement kills is forced into a huge grind that takes 10 times as long......

This was not a good idea, MMO's are based on level based content that is unlocked as you go, its a base platform for any decent MMO, Story and single player content are always appreciated, and the new Missions and companion interaction is good along with the Alliance rebuild quest chain ......Level sync in any from is not.

Totally pointless, levels are redundant now.
Levels are the gating points for skills, abilities, utility points, and passives. Just because they don't also give you a 100% defense chance and 0m aggro radius doesn't make them "redundant"...
