You can't afk through that one though.

Also thanks for explaining things, maybe BW will read that and tune up conquests instead of leaving it as the the thoughtless piece of junk that it currently is.

Congrats Schfink !

That's some going

P.S. To all the 'sour grapes' responders, is it really too hard to for you to just say 'well done' and leave it at that? Your grumpiness sheds an unappealing light on your attitude to more than just this game!

I already made a "well deserved" post, also: Get real. Attitude is irrelevant to conquests being junk. Dude posted saying that it's great for being afk? That doesn't even pass the laugh test, what a poor design.

You need to play to be able to craft as well. Sure, the crafting may be done while you're offline, but the materials have to come from somewhere as well, either gathering them on your own or buying them for money you need to get from, surprise, playing other content.

In any event, how do we know this is not some big ruse? How do we know the guild only had 1 "conquesting" player in it? Was someone else in the guild monitoring its membership during this season of miracles?

What registers with me is "Will the banner disappear on its own or will I have to re-set the UI to get it to go away." We really need an option to disable it entirely.

Hopefully Bioware sees this and realizes how silly Conquests are, if they don't already. The whole system is horrible and I hope they review improving it so it's not just an obvious material sink and actually something to do. I participated maybe 3 times until I saw it for what it was. Not worth.
B.I.N.G.O!!!

Conquests worked the first few weeks, I'd never run so many FPs and had so much fun...but then Bioware removed all ability to win them by actually playing the game, and instead now rewards those who don't play it more. My offline crafters are far more valuable than the single toon I'm contributing to the community with...it's a freaking joke!

Newsflash: if it's in the game, doing it is "playing the game." "Playing the game" is not defined by TUXs, except for TUXs. Crafting is "playing the game."

Newsflash: If it can be done while your computer is off, your power is out and your house is burning to the ground, just as effectively as it can be done with you sitting at a desk, online and atk, I don't consider it "playing the game". Crafting to win conquests makes a joke out of the entire thing.

You can't do crating 100% off-line. You have to log in to get the results and send your crew off to do new stuff.

But your hyperbole is noted.
