On a sidenote: I can't believe Orbital Strike operates again and ended up being 3rd with 1.5 million points. That guild was dead for like 1.5 years or so. I had some chars there, but there was only one guy and me online for months in 2014, so I left. And now they make more points than my current guild. Curse them.

They are, you might think of the server name that shows together with the guild. It is the server the guild was created on.

You know that web browsers have these wonderful things called "Add-ons"... And that these "Add-ons" block all manner of scripts and ads? You might be surprised just how many background ads and scripts are blocked on just this website and forums alone that slow down your browser..

Great job to the solo conquestor. Really highlights the issues with Conquests.
Hopefully Bioware sees this and realizes how silly Conquests are, if they don't already. The whole system is horrible and I hope they review improving it so it's not just an obvious material sink and actually something to do. I participated maybe 3 times until I saw it for what it was. Not worth.

I should clarify again that only about 2 mil of the points were from crafting , the rest were from doing the heroics and other high point score challenges. The 7 heroics on Nar Shadda payed 14k every 30-40 minutes (Sometimes 50 minutes when super tired, eyes bleeding and limbs numb!)
If you take away the crafting from all the guilds that were challenging for Nar Shadda i would have still come in the top 3.
Personally i do not think there is anything wrong with conquests. All guilds play the same tactics. If you want to win a planet you simply drop a crap load of points after reset as a warning to other guilds "hey hands off this ones ours, don't waste your mats!"!

I had been saving mats and watching how the other guilds worked, when they dropped the most points, if they point bombed on the last day with chars standing in reserve with pre-crafted's. Using WHO is a great tool for finding out how people are getting their points.

Many people have mentioned that the whole crafting side of things should be removed from conquests. You must realise that many players have limited game time (Usually due to work and family commitments) yet still want to do all they can to help their guild get that number 1 spot. Crafting is a great way to get points while AFK!

The whole thing was just a personal challenge, not to show up, highlight game issues or embarrass anyone, please don't read anything more into it than that.

Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? You should have to PLAY to get points, not get points while AFK. Being able to "drop points" right when a conquest begins is one of the largest reasons why the whole thing is messed up. Crafting points messes the whole system up.
