I think we are not seeing the whole picture yet. The leak doesn't say anything ops or FP but that dont mean they are not working on them. I think they want to focus on the main part of the expansion is about first. then talk about the endgame at a later date. I mean SOR was a story driven expansion and it had 2 new FP and 2 new ops. Let's wait and see.

I would very much like to see a focus on the core game. Admittedly we have very little details on the expansion at this point but if we get anymore focus on story they aren't going to have much resources for Operations and PvP.

We haven't seen a new PvP map in over a year, the 3.3 changes are just tweaked values on a vendor and the AoE changes play really poorly.
Last raid tier was released early December and Monolith is a joke of a boss with RNG loot to artificially extend the time that people do it. No new content announced and no NiM.

As much as I like story I like raiding and PvPing much much more.

BioWare is doing it right by going back to story. Most of the serious PvE Hardcore here unsub after every major boss downing, and then only resub when a new mode or boss comes out. They do not play for story and generally rush through to cap on their classes. Most of the income generated by this game is from the folks who play for story and all content, RP, PvP and PvE combined. The casual gamer. The hardcore get their fix, and move on. Rotating games as necessary.

Keep up the good work BW. This game is for those who love the great stories you tell.

The core gameplay highlight for SOR was Disciplines. The expansion details so far contain nothing on that scale or even mention of content for existing things.

All I'm saying don't take a press release as the whole expansion details.
