I am really excited for this! Since they say companions, I am cautiously optimistic that I will like at least one of them. Maybe, instead of disappearing into the narrative aether when they have outlived their usefulness in the story, we will get Lana and Theron. ^^ Here's crossing my fingers that the new companions will not be comic relief, will be able to display their gear, and will be reasonably pleasing to the eyes and ears.

Truthfully, I do NOT want new companions at all. No more companions. No more recruiting new people. No more non human or humanoid companions (basically, if they don't speak Basic **). I want more with my current companions. No Lana, no Theron, no Jakkaro or D4. I want Quinn or Doc or Torian or Vector or Kira telling me new things and giving me a new mini quest or extended 'this is me' stuff. I have 42 companions...I DON'T WANT ANYMORE. If they're not going to give me more information or quests or dialogues with my current companions, I don't give a ** about new ones. Keep them. Give me more for our original companions, thank you.
Bioware, please remember our companion spouses when doing new expansions. I want scenes, letters, or something from them, saying they're worried! Click my referral link to get free rewards.

Problem: Tanno Vik's voice actor, David Anthony Pizzuto, died a few months after the game launched. I imagine they could put something in his story once to get to the end of his current arc that could lead into a change in voice actor (like an accident that left him with the need to use a vocabulator, or something), but it would still seem pretty clunky.

Mordin Sulus on Mass Effect had two VAs from one game to the other. I went on a play binge of the three games, didn't notice that the VA changed. They may have trouble, but I'm sure they could eventually find someone who sounds close enough. Revan, The Emperor both have two VAs as well (Emperor was given a cute hand wave with Him using whatever voice of the Host Body).
