Hi! I'm a new player and don't know if I should get pvp gear, I'm level 29 and only played unranked so far.

 

I mainly trying to level through missions but when I've done the daily PvP I haven't felt like a tank that I am, feel kinda squishy. Or it is just me running out being a noob at pvp ^^

 

so can you get pvp gear sub level 50? and in that case where?

The PvP gear below level 50 is actually PvE gear you can buy with Warzone Comms at your class's PvP vendor on Dromund Kaas / Coruscant. Fairly standard itemisation, some of the pieces look quite good. As for whether it's worth getting or not, someone else would have to answer.

I'm fairly sure there's also a vendor in the combat training area on the fleet that sells some unmoddable pvp main- and offhands for sub 60s

If the definition of PvP gear is gear with expertise, then the answer is a resounding NO. The way bolster works, there is no need to hunt for "extra" expertise in levels below 60. If anything, it will probably make your stats worse inside a warzone.

Correct! If you're serious about it, though, at level 60 you should have separate PvP and PvE sets.

Right now, because of Bolster bugs, you should rather stay away from mid-level PvP.

Lv 29 is fine. Best pvp with that lv :-)

Level 29 is almost still "low level" to me.

Mid-level is 30-40 to me, almost 40-50,

and in my definition 50-60 is "high level".
