Sortable Spreadsheet for Collections Armor Sets

It's how I keep track of my acquisitions. It may help with finding the sets to unlock. I added what information I have about which unlocks are discounted.

Column "Pos" refers to position on the collections page following rows left-to-right and up-down:

1-2-3-4

5-6-7-8

9-10-11-12

For my own purposes I didn't see a need for a discount column and I have grayed out the boxes for each piece of armor where a particular piece doesn't apply (ie: some sets don't have a head piece or a bracer). I've added tabs for most of the major sections so keeping track of collections, whether bound or not and whether armor or not, should be possible.

 

Any modifications, mistakes, suggestions, let me know!

Did they finally stop rearranging the pages whenever a new pack comes out? I did that too at first but stopped after they messed up the order again. I found it easier to keep track of which pack the set came from in order to locate a set.

I really appreciate this kind of effort, way to go.

 

I use charts and tables in Word documents to track my dailies and currency across all my characters so when I log-in I can see who needs to do what, who needs more warzone comms, etc. It's awesome.

 

The only sucky part about yours is that once they put in a search function into collections all that hard work will go *poof*.

WOW! This spreadsheet is epic! Been looking for something like this, thanks! :D:D:D Obviously the hard part will be maintaining it as new packs come out. I saw mention of how they reorganize things in the collections listing--I think the collections are large enough that a simple search feature could be a huge benefit, but that's a topic for another thread.

 

Even with a search, the hard work isn't for naught. Still need a way to track acquisitions that aren't a full set.

While we shouldn't have to do this, I'm happy you did. I'll be using your tactic.

Something that I kind of want added that would make collections easier to work with would be "claim all" options for the titles and emotes instead of going through and clicking every single one of them individually. Or let us checkmark individual collections listings, including a "check all on current page" option, and then have a "shopping cart" to review and mass-claim checkmarked items.

I second that, sort of. I haven't actually set up anything to keep track of precisely where to find any specific sets. But I do also find it easier to just go down to the list for whichever specific shipment or pack I think ought to have whatever I've got in mind instead of slogging through the full listing of every armor set in collections. You get at least a rough idea offhand without actually tracking anything what sort of things were in each shipment or how long ago something specific came out, and when you go straight to a specific shipment you've only got a few pages at a time to look through.

I am awed by the level of OCD here, lol I mean no disrespect - I have several things in my life I am this anal retentive about, so I actually applaud this. Nonetheless, it's extremely detailed, and thus I use a measure of sarcasm to put a little cushion betwixt my jaw and the floor.Well done sir and/or ma'am.

LOL, I didn't take your comments as disrespectful--no worries. I appreciate the.. er... appreciation... :cool: While it may be a little delayed, I have updated the spreadsheet with new items and sort orders, as well as corrected some spelling errors and detail errors. I plan on putting links in to tor-fashion.com to be able to pull up graphics of the Armor, Customizations, and the like, but that's a little much for now. :D

If anyone was using the initial revision the only suggestion I could give to incorporate the changes into it would be to sort alphabetically and then copy/paste the first three columns over, accounting for new items of course. It should give you the proper names and positions. Haven't tried it myself yet....
