Kicked from an FP for mentioning World of Warcraft?

Few people have the skill to simultaneously type and fight. Possible, but this kind of players will usually be found doing flashpoints with their guild, or soloing if they are on at an odd time, not pugging stuff up.
What we must fight for is to safeguard the existence of the Sith race and the Sith people, the glory of our children and the purity of our blood, the freedom and independence of the Empire, so that we may fulfill the mission allotted us by the Force itself. Everything must be examined from this point of view and used or rejected according to its utility.

Lol You be amazed at the number of times I've seen that happen in game. There must be a million Treeks all with best armor running around rofling content.
Where ever the Light travels to in this universe, the Dark is already there, waiting for it.

This gets my vote. Unless it's a guild "drunk run", shut up and heal.

Yeah, you're the exact kind of person who needs to be kicked from Flashpoints. You're gonna talk about whatever you want to talk about, bring an attitude with you, and insult everyone who doesn't agree. /votekick

The MMO community has its fair share of dingbats in it. I remember seeing a vid on you-tube of some "respected" gamer griefing someone in Archeage simply because they went AFK near some water so they tried to drown the afker.

Yes. If you don't like it - ill push you off.
And don't you even dare to whisper me some endearing words in my ears.

Seriously, it's a GAME. Not your job. Have fun with people. Chat with them.
Oh come on Kings,

Its pretty obvious to all of us you never had sex under any rules :P

PS: I chat all the time in Flashpoints and I would have put the OP on ignore as well (or supported a vote kick) because you can tell by the way he tries to hide his intention that hes one of those trolls looking for some kind of negative reaction.

Why else would you ask such a loaded question in a group of strangers?

HE WAS TROLLING.

Honestly he probably never got kicked either.
Just made whole thing up and started thread .
Probably laughing his behind off that people responded here thinking hes some masterful manipulator or something (cant help but think of that South Park character who slurps when he speaks when I think of OPs reaction to responses)

As for fast vote kickers lately, Ive noticed the same thing actually

Some however been legit (like the hard mode I had last night where Healer went AFK unannounced and we kicked after clearing everything to desert Oasis in Meltdown. He couldnt even type AFK, was given more then enough time to get back, deserved to be kicked.)

But on other side of equation entered a hard mode where Tank looked at everyones gear and instantly tried to vote kick DPSer who was in fully augmented 156 gear. I abstained from vote and tank threw a hissy fit and rage quit group because we wouldnt vote kick the dpser. (funny story, same tank go into a buddies hm few days later and healer typed AFK BRB in couple minutes. 30 seconds later Tank is trying to kick healer. My buddy abstained and said "healer told us he would be couple minutes".
Tank responded "Its been 5 minutes already, how long we suppose to wait"
OTHER DPS (not my buddy) responds "its been 30 seconds, not 5 minutes"
So tank rage quits their group as well (thats when buddy told me story over mumble. I mentioned that sounded exactly like tank I had other day and said name and buddy pipes up, "THATS WHO IT WAS".

But all that aside, still dont believe OPs version of event for a second.
Its pretty clear the story is
1) Completely made up to troll the forums (most likely)
or
2) Said in a way that was trollish in fashion and group responded to trolling attempt by kicking him.

Either way, dont beleive OPs version of events what so ever.
In regards to lessening F2P and Preferred restrictions
In GAMING, as in LIFE,
You get what you pay for
No game restriction is so dire that $15.00/month will not eliminate it

Warped brand loyalty and unrequited clan mentality expands a great deal of why many people get vehement and violently reactionary when things rival to their thing are brought up in ant sort of positive light, be it real or imagined.

Wanna see it in action? Find some Chevy diehards and say something positive about Ford, and vice versa.

Find some Apple loyalists and speak positively about Android, and vice versa.

Mac versus PC, anyone?

Windows versus Linux?

These manner of things at rampant and rather predictable.

I then mentioned that I was a 8 Year WoW vet then the next thing I saw was that I got removed from the group. Why are players so touchy about this subject?
WoW was the 1st MMO, thus the most difficult.

They were probably too young to have played it and if they did play never beat it. They were venting those frustrations and jealousy unfairly at you IMO.
