Kicked from an FP for mentioning World of Warcraft?

So by that logic, Kingsbount, you engage in conversation with your fellow groupmates during raids as well?

"Oh, I'm in TFB. Oh, portals are spawning! Let's talk about portals and ask if anyone has played Portal 2 rather than destroy them. Maybe I'll make some silly joke about wishing some were yellow. Wait...why are people dead? TALK TO ME."

I mean, according to you, it IS only a game. Let's not worry about what the rest of the group wants to do or anything objective oriented. Let's just simply indulge in my desire for inane conversation.

Yes. If you don't like it - ill push you off.
And don't you even dare to whisper me some endearing words in my ears.

Seriously, it's a GAME. Not your job. Have fun with people. Chat with them.
Fun is a funny little word, what's fun to you may not be fun for others. Apparently the majority of the group decided your version of fun wasn't the same as theirs. Using your example if someone likes to have the type of sex you mentioned and you don't I imagine you won't be having sex with them. That's what happened in the group that kicked you.

Foreplay is overrated for some people it would seem. Going in strength is all that matters.

it's ok just meant some can type and play, and striking a conversation can make it seem like time goes faster... Some people are chatty but can still do the job at hand.

So you're a troll? Why else would you mention this in two Flashpoints rather than a more suitable setting? Sounds like you were asking to be kicked.

He never said how specifically he "mentioned" WoW.

It's probably the way he did and he knew exactly what he was doing.
What we must fight for is to safeguard the existence of the Sith race and the Sith people, the glory of our children and the purity of our blood, the freedom and independence of the Empire, so that we may fulfill the mission allotted us by the Force itself. Everything must be examined from this point of view and used or rejected according to its utility.

Isn't this "specific" enough?

I then mentioned that I was a 8 Year WoW vet then the next thing I saw was that I got removed from the group. Why are players so touchy about this subject?
Whether you believe him or not is another matter. There's always two sides to the same story.

If I'm running a FP with you (Yes you over there, dont hide I see you!), I expect the following
1) Dont break CC
2) Dont Break CC
3) If you dont know something ASK before the pull.
4) Dont roll need on stuff because "Hey Treek can use that!"
5) Dont pull random mobs then scream like a girl that you are in trouble.
6) Dont be a dick.

Other that those, talk about what ever you want, so long as you are getting the job done.
Where ever the Light travels to in this universe, the Dark is already there, waiting for it.

My bad, must have glanced over it.

Well, this kind of talk will get you kicked in no time:
* Ask about another MMO
* Ask if people think another MMO is better - troll alert
* Boast about your time in another MMO - at this point no one wants to stay with you

Are you sure it was the wow comments? A guildy said they had to kick this guy the other day because all he was talking about was wow, he was the healer and the group kept wiping, and he just kept on about how wow was better instead of healing. Was that you?
