Derp, of course I knew that they were from 2013. I 'said' they were from 2013. Did you think I was trying to be sneaky by stating the obvious?

That said, did you 'seriously' suggest that the absence of good news was a reason to be worried? I'm serious. I need to know if you're trolling or not.

All I want is for competitive group ranked to pop and to give incentive for people to queue and stick around in the pvp community? Is this really so much to ask? I sit in grouped ranked queue so long without a pop I DC for being AFK. That is NOT ok.

And Someone said prove half the community is unhappy? I'm sure current pop is mostly happy because the people who were unhappy left the game! The "good" pvp community has left to play other games and the competition has died. How are you going to compete with games like Wildstar who have cross server queues were WZs pop every 2 minutes and offers 2s,3s,5s,BGs,40 v 40, and (I think this term is foreign to Bioware) World PvP? Have you even talked about a strat to maintain population? And when I say population, I mean the useful, harcore players (PVE or PVP) population. Not little Johnny who sits there and queues for FPs and 8s with his **** in his hand and screams " GEE GOLLY GOSH THESE ARE FUN!"

You say the game is successful because they make a lot of money and that the game isn't dying. That is like saying Kim Kardashian is successful because she is rich -_-. Well... it sure hell isn't growing. It makes money off of subs who are hanging on to a hopeless nothing and the Cartel Market. If people are coming to the game, they don't stick around for end game content. It's not serious players. It is people like little Johnny again. You mistake quantity for quality/

And you say us players are impatient about 3.0. I speak for myself when I say "You are **** right I am." Let me ask you this. Would you invest in a company that has not announced the future of its product for months and when you ask you get a "oh it will be something good, don't worry!"? Probably not. Investors would get shaky and bail out of investments and the company would tank in stocks. Same deal here. Tell us what is going on or I will be gone or return at a later date when your **** is together.

I guess what frustrates me the most is the Bioware/EA target audience for this game. They target people like little Johnny and people who want to drown money in the cartel market. Who cares about the hardcore players?

If Bioware is making $139 million quarterly, then why isn't content being pushed out at a reasonable rate? Instead of putting money back in the game, you do the minimum to keep people happy and take the rest as profit. For that, you should feel ashamed.

Hopefully Bioware and EA choose to steer TOR in the right direction before Tortanic hits a giant iceberg and sinks the party for all of us.

Who is "US"? Last I checked you don't speak for me or anyone else who plays the game or posts on these forums.

2012 was bad enough that I played for the first 6 months of 2012, then left until Jan 2013.

1.6 to 2.0 was great, up until 2.4, was fine...

Since Oct 2013? Meh, nothing special...

If 3.0 doesn't bring back the special, I likely won't stay past the end of this year, and I'm a Star Wars nut.

1. Are you on POT5? That server is dead and has been for a long while.
2. Wildstar (much like Guild Wars 2) has great components, but as a full MMO, is not a working machine. Wold PVP is great, and no other game captures it quite right. 40 v 40 arenas are some of the most chaotic fun there is out there. But the leveling is absolutely dreadful. The endgame PVE content is just meh. The grind is unreal. TOR has its issues, but at least I can get a character to 55, do a few operations, and then decide I want to level another character.
3. Serious player is a term I see thrown around a lot. By serious do you mean "plays for more than 40 hours a week?" If you are having problems with content in this game, then my advice to you is play it less. Find another game. I know of no game that retains my attention for huge amounts of time in a short period of time.
4. The next expansion comes out soon and the demands exist for 3.0 information? Impatience will get you no where.
5. If games like Champions Online and Star Trek Online still exist, then I do not think TOR is in any real danger of shutting down any time soon. Regardless, the doom gloomers will make you think TOR will shut down in the next six months.

Ah, because leveling characters over and over again is what we all want. That sounds....like....so....much fun. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the stories and what not, but end game content is what is going to make the game.

It's so lolzy to see everyone get so defensive when I bring up some points I wished were different. I get it guys, we want this game to succeed, so do I and everyone else that brings up issues. We just want things to get done. They bring in all this revenue that you guys talk about and none of it seems to go back into the game. I actually am fairly excited for GSH, I just hope 3.0 brings a lot more.
