so now we know the reason for the lack of content

I'm kind of curious as to how many of the people complaining about the lack of ops content have actually completed what's available, including nim df and dp. I'm going to be busy with those for awhile, myself, lol.

This is where we differ...I do. I enjoy group content.

PvEers, PvPers, Story players, Crafters, RPers, GSF has been put on hold...it's everyone.

We're progressing on NiM's...but big deal. They're the EXACT same freaking 2 Ops we've been doing since last October.

Tweaking their difficulty doesn't make them magically new.

There are still a lot of players in-game now who you can do group content with.

Housing Caters to Roleplayers, I don't think I need to explain how this is. Housing also caters to crafters as they can craft the LS and Decorations. Decorations come from Achievements in PvE and PvP Content, which will cause players to go back and try to get achievements for Decorations. GSF got new ships last patch I believe. The next story chapter for Forged Alliances arc is coming in 2.9 last I heard.

So yeah, how has everything been put on hold again?

It hasn't. He's just been all doom and gloom lately because he's getting impatient. It's not that they aren't working on stuff... it's just not available yet!

Well, I've been playing them since they were released and the challenge keeps me enjoying them. *shrugs* Anyway, I've derailed the thread from its spurious logic and mudslinging, lol. Back to it then.

So, people are upset that the end of an expansion has little in the way of new content.

Do these same people throw this kind of a fit when their favorite TV shows go on hiatus?

Or when their favorite movie ends and the credits roll?

How about when Christmas is over and no more presents are there to be unwrapped?

People are being decidedly petulant and childish when it comes to the simple reality that when an expansion is wrapping up 'no new content' comes out for a lil while. Omg, alert the media.

What exactly are they working on that they've announced? Please link it for me. I'm being realistic too...not "doom and gloom".

2.9, for starters. I know you won't count it, but the GSH updates, as well.

And, really, do you honestly believe that they are not working on more content as I type this? Like there won't ever be a 3.0 or beyond? I know you can be rational. Just think about it. This game is not dead and it's best days are yet to come.

3.0 and the next expansion. No, you don't get to have any details. But, there you go, that's what they're working on.
