I don't think it's the actual crafting component of the stuff you "craft" since they said that crafters will craft items, not components.

IF that is how they do crafting, then it will be the crafters that craft the "components" you can use to buy the items you want. So it'll still be crafting, but not for specific items. Because they have said that different crafting professions and crafters in general will have alot to do... that wouldn't be the case if they just had droids doing all the crafting and crafters doing noting.
