They did say that they're going to make an effort to pair up Crafting professions with the logical decorations. Like Synthweaving dealing with cloth-related items. Banners and what not.

yeah but what would this item fall under Artifice or maybe Cybertech?

Cutting to the chase here... no matter how they do it.. some crafter somewhere is going to flood the forum with tears.

Seriously though.. like every other crafting extension since launch... they will spread the abilities across several crafts (maybe all of them) AND people will complain that their particular crafting specialty is somehow persecuted by Bioware.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

Unless you have all the crafting skills on your alts.

Only ones I currently don't have are armormech/synth with the CM and collections these two seem rather redundant.

Synthweaving makes augment such as Resolve, Alacrity, Might which I sell quickly on the GTN

Armormech makes augments such as Absorb, Skill, Shield which again they sell quickly on the GTN.

These two crafting skills are my major GTN sellers.
