You can do all of BH in 20-30 minutes. The czerka (minus ops) dailies take 15 min and Ilum daillies take about 15 to 20. That's 250,000 in under an hour and a half per day. Or you can craft and sell while doing chores around the house. You don't have to invest a lot of time to make money.

If people refuse to do the things designed to make money, they can't really complain that they have no money, lol.

I have a job. I have a family. I sure am not going to spend my limited gaming time doing the dailies.
You 'do' realize that the price won't be anywhere near 5mil, right? I mean, you 'do' know that you're upset about a number pulled out of someone's posterior, yes?

I'm sorry but no, just no.
yes everyone else has lives of their own but they also seem to forget that not everyone has as much freedom to play as long or as often as others.

My life isn't anymore real then others that truly was a poor choice of words to be honest. However, I don't like when people say to play the game more or imply that you want something made slightly easier to get because your lazy and DON'T WANT to put the work in.

Does that make more sense?

I spend minimal time crafting and make between 300k and 500k per day doing it. I could make more if I wanted, and have cranked up the effort when I actually have something to spend money on. This amount is what I make incidental to actually playing. I barely gather resources, even when on planets that generate the ones I need. Most missions are run almost on reflex using my extra companions while playing. The only extra steps I take are logging through a few extra toons when I log in for the night, and when I log out, and spending a few minutes listing items at the beginning of each play session.

When I was more actively crafting and playing the market by buying/selling off the GTN I was able to bring in between 1 and 2 million a day, all while holding down a full time job, raising two kids, spending quality time with my wife and keeping the house maintained. I even have time to spend with friends outside of TOR.

There are many methods to make money in this game. Crafting is one, dailies are another, playing the GTN works, and so does actually just playing the game. All of these methods require a certain amount of time and effort. For those who don't want to spend time or effort, there's the cartel market where you can convert real cash to in game credits buy buying and selling things.

For those who want to spend neither time, nor effort, nor real money to make in game credits I don't have an answer. Until Bioware makes it possible to earn in game credits through posting on the forums, you are all out of luck.

So, you are complaining about a potentially high price because you don't have enough time to make the credits?

You can't expect to get the same sort of rewards when you don't/can't put in the same amount of time as others. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous and unfair.

I don't get mad because PVPers get an awesome unique Rancor. They put in the time, they earned it. I don't get mad at people with the Avalanche tank mount. They put in the time, they earned it. And I don't get mad at people who buy super rare stuff on the GTN. They put in the time, they earned it.

If you don't have the time to put into something, you simply can't expect to get the same rewards as those who 'do' put in the time.

Two myths need to be busted ITT:

1 - Dailies are for PVEers: No, they're boring/repetitive cred. makers for everyone. Why? Because nobody likes them. Same could be said for getting mats, crafting, and working the GTN although some do consistently enjoy time spent doing those things. I do both and spend almost all log time queued for PVP. It's why my toons are wealthy bastards without me having to invest much time doing things I do not want to.

2 - You all have lives and families: False. As MMO players you all have neckbeards and live in your mother's basement. Before typing a rebuttal I suggest wiping that greasy hot pocket filling off your shirt before it stains.

This past month I haven't even had time to log into the game once, by the time I get home I'm so tired all I want to do is eat, shower, and go to bed.

And you don't have to put a lot of time in, just some. (see money making ideas above)

That's unfortunate, but it just means that you'll have something to do when you have more time, right? I mean...you can't really expect to progress in the game with zero time to play it, can you?
