Will the Club Vertica pack have the same "experiment" as the Star Cluster pack?

I am really looking forward to the Club Vertica pack in a few weeks. Nearly every armor set and weapon is something I'd like. However, due to the abysmal decision to "experiment" with rarities and collection unlock prices in the Star Cluster pack without informing anyone first, I'm hesitant to purchase any. Has Bioware learned from the overwhelmingly negative response to the Star Cluster pack and decided to use normal rarities and collection unlock prices?

I have no intention of getting burned as bad as those who purchased the Star Cluster pack have. If Bioware refuses to comment on this before Club Vertica is released, I certainly won't be purchasing any.

We have no way of knowing until it's released.

It also depends on if it's completely done already or not.
If it is, then I doubt they'll change it before releasing and they'll just stick with the "we're just trying out a new thing" line that they gave us this time.
If it isn't, then they might change it due to the outrage of the playerbase over this last pack.

But that's still a big "might".

I'd love to see a producer comment on this.

This damned experiment did cause me to spend more on CC's. People seemed to critique those spending millions of credits in the Nar Shadda casino, when every week this goes on for crates/packs.

Dangling the carrot in front of us works. Pure and simple. They were aware these packs had/have some of the more attractive sets in them. Just like the Rancor, it makes sense to make them even more rare. The fact of the matter is people love (and I don't use that term lightly) this game so much, they're willing to spend the money. That being said, they took us unawares when it came to collection unlocks. Shame on them for that.

I'm not spending a dime on hypercrates if they're going to be as terrible as the last one. That is just way, way too much money down the drain.

Yes, not giving any concrete answers.

They really need to tell us upfront what the unlock costs are going to be for the various rarities. Not this wishy washy "more in line" spin.

Nope, the coins you spent were in control of only one person, and that was you.

Unless now Bioware enters in people's accounts to mess them up? Didn't think so.

This I agree with... no matter how high they raise their prices, it's always up to you if you spend the money or not.

They never have given us any set price of account wide unlocks really. There were several of the past CC unlocks from past packs that were priced differently. The big thing about this one was they deviated so much from their typical loose standards it was hard to ignore, on top of screwing with the ratios.

Before the "experiment" with the last pack was brought to light I had planned on buying a hypercrate of the second set. Now I'm going to pass because I see it being a "we already had it set up at the test prices/ratio so we wont change it" deal.

Kinda shot themselves in the foot with this.
