In my opinion, the sky isn't blue. Its grey.

Actually you wouldn't be wrong because in your mind the sky is Grey because that's the color you percieve with your eyes, others would be wrong to tell you otherwise because to you that's the color of the sky that you see and not them.

Given the frequency with which you respond to pretty much anything, I have a hard time believing that you actually consider the opinions of people who disagree with you 'inconsequential'.
