Hourly deals on the CM this friday?

Agreed that there is zero way to avoid it not being an inconvenience for someone.

But, you would think they'd be smarter than to run the sale when most are at work. Or, at the very least, running these sales a second time during non-work hours.

So, yeah 9am CDT this morning, I grab the Varactyl since it's a really good deal and after checking on here and seeing the lineup, I think to myself "Okay, now I'll just wait until the Eradicator set comes out this evening and I'll pick that up too. I'll still have plenty of coins, but will have gotten a couple things that I really like."

The way it actually played out: I bought one of everything that's been up for sale except for the XP boost and Treek (who I already had and wouldn't pay CC for anyways because I personally feel she crosses the line from purely cosmetic or trivial content on the CM). At least the Quick Travel will be another round I can pass on lol.

Finally got home from work. I missed out on the Varacytl which was the only thing I really wanted Picked up the speeder as a consolation prize. The eradicator armor is the only other item even vaguely tempting that is left to go on sale since I picked up the Tauntaun on the GTN a while back. Sad day for a dedicated bargain hunter/compulsive collector.

works out great for me, even though I don't need any of it, I probably would have purchased multiples of each just because. It's a good thing there isn't a Darth Ferragamo collection on the CM.

I woke up just in time to get the Pod Racer mount for 180 CC.

Oh I definitely would have bought a couple of those at that price. Thanks goodness I'm at work. I can tell I would have ran out of CCs before the sale is over.

Well, probably because my work day is done, but still, I wanna do some shopping too.

I will say that though I understand why they did the sale today, I think it's weird that they did it hourly instead of just making it last all day until 12 midnight or something.

Doing hourly sales when the majority of people are at work is just bizarre and fits in with the perception that BW will always do just enough to piss most people off.
