I also like this idea. VIP'S could be random, but both sides should have it be the same advanced class. VIP'S would be active for both teams at the same time.

If one team doesn't have a class (it must be decided by class because people WILL abuse damage spec guys with a shield) that does not have a guard and the other team does, then the vip for the team without a guard should get to pick up a 50% damage reduction buff that lasts like 1 minute.

Stealth would not be able to stealth out. If they do, then they lose the round.

I dont like VIP, it does not really work in a game like this where you have different ACs with different capabilities. It works in Halo b/c everyone is the same.


Muderball is a good idea. They have this gametype in Rift, and to prevent real turtling the 'ball holder' takes increasingly more damage over time by possessing the ball until they are killed by it.

I would like to see a true Multi-Flag CTF game type. Perhaps something with a bit of a bigger map where vehicles could be used (flag carrier would be restricted from vehicle use).

I don't know if it's been mentioned before --Barrage-coffee hasn't proc'ed yet, so I'm not up to going through all 36 pages-- but:

If we must have arenas (not a fan, to put it mildly), then:

Why not a "King of the Hill" mode?

[X] men in ---> last man out, everybody versus everybody?

More modes besides 4v4 as well: 2v2, 6v6, 8v8, or even 10+ v 10+?

Take a lesson from your fellow EA game, Titanfall or MOBA's.

Have a mixed PvP / PvE mode with NPC enemies that need to be killed or defended. They should be relatively weak--the real threat should be other players, but your ability to kill enemy NPC's and/or defend your own should influence who wins the match.

This could potentially expand interest in warzones to those players who generally prefer PvE to PvP. Players new to PvP (and lacking high expertise gear) could still contribute to their team success by tanking/healing/damaging NPC's.

Gear choice would also be interesting, as you could bring in high level PvE gear and focus on efficient NPC combat, but at the risk of leaving yourself vulnerable to PvP specialists with lots of Expertise.

Some of the NPC enemies could be big ... walkers or tanks. Get a little bit of the feel of Ilum back, but still in an instanced warzone.
